Dealer Review:

contacted the dealer when my 3 day temp tags where about a week from expiration. They explained the state of NY will not allow them to issue a second set or to extend the current set. After several emails requesting the issue be expedited and resolved the response I received was “ All DMV is behind and you probably won't receive the registration for another 2 or 3 weeks. However as long as you arent doing 100 on the highway you should be good…. if you were to receive a ticket for the registration expired, we would iron that out for you.” I went to the CT DMV website and appointments are available either same day or next day. I also contacted their main office and was told there are currently no delays. I have been contacted via phone by Dave Lewis the GM of the dealership. He stated to me that DMV is backed up everywhere and there is nothing they can do. He claims he’s been operating his own vehicle unregistered for nearly 6 months. I later found out from him that the dealership is using a 3rd party DMV processor. I was finally promised that I would receive a valid registration for my vehicle within 5-7 business days putting the time to complete the process at 61 days since the transaction. I still have not received the registration. I have open complaints with the State of NY, the Better Business Bureau and Lithia Motors who owns the dealership. It is clear to me that selling the vehicle and getting the cash for the transaction is the only thing this dealership is interested in. I brought more than 30% cash to the table and financed the balance. Now that the dealership has the money they have ZERO interest in delivering on any of their promises. They are in breech if the contact and bill of sale. I would not recommend anyone do business with the dealership. I am extremely disappointed and at the point where I most likely will be pursuing legal action against the dealer in order to resolve their gross negligence to deliver what has been promised in their contact. Run, don’t walk away.

Dealer Review:

I called the dealer about a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing and the salesman led me to believe that the vehicle was in excellent condition inside and out. I was skeptical by the posting because it said the exact same thing. I told the guy I was going to have to drive 1 hour and 30 minutes just to get there and to please be honest about its condition. Well I was fooled I went there to look at the vehicle and the posting said it had remote start but when I got the key there was no fob to do the remote start, so I asked if there was a key fob that went with the vehicle and he said no but he could program one to unlock the car. I over looked the outside of the vehicle and there was rust all over the edge of the hood about 2 inches up, and they just painted over it. The lower Part of the bumper was disconnected and it had been hit before cause it was spider cracked all over. The inside of the vehicle smelled like it had mold in it there was pieces missing from the overhead storage compartment. The driver side sear had a huge hole in the side of it where it looked like it got cut out and not just from wear. There was also somthing sticky all over the carpet in the back. I talked to the salesman that I talked with on the phone and all he had to say was it was all wear an tear an thar I was being to picky. This was a 2016 vehicle so all the problems it had didn't just seem like wear an tear but he acted like I was an idiot an that I should of known that the vehicle was going to look like that. He said it's used so this is what you get. Knowing how much he lied about the vehicle upfront just made me wonder what else was wrong with the vehicle mechanically. In my opinion the salesman is a typical sneaky salesman and by the posting it seems like the owner might be the same way. If you buy from this dealer just be prepared on what the vehicle might look like or in this case smell like too.
