2023 GMC Yukon XL
As our family grew we saw the need to replace our Outback (twins charge life in a hurry). We wanted something that could do everything. Yet economy was very important. A good friend raved about how efficient his new GMC Sierra with the 3.0 diesel was, and guess what? You could get that engine in the SUV! After a year of mixed use my average fuel economy sits at 27.8 MPG. That’s amazing … for such a large vehicle. On the highway I’ve gotten in the 30’s if it’s nice, flat terrain. We’ve had a few recalls, but no problems so far. It’s very comfortable, quiet, and absolutely amazing in winter on bad roads. We’ve been on trips across the country, range is awesome too. Can’t beat this for a family vehicle!
