Great mileage, low maintenance sedan

2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid
Bought my 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid with 9,800 miles on it in July of 2019 for a bit over $18,000. Then the pandemic came along and I started working from home. Now used for around town driving and once a week 40 mile commute to my office, occasional road trips. Subsequently only have circa 25,000 miles on the car now. To get really good mileage you do need to break some old "pedal to the … metal" driving habits. If you can do that, you can consistently get 50+ miles to the gallon combined city/highway during warm months of the year (I live in Buffalo, NY area); hitting 55 - 60 mpg on some office commutes. Winter mileage is closer to the advertised 41 - 43 mpg. I have noticed that the odometers do seem to overstate the mileage by about 2.3 miles per gallon. Its not as good a ride as my old 2007 Kia Amanti, but its ok for a sedan. No maintenance problems yet.
