2023 Chevrolet Traverse
I just purchased in May and returned last week from a trip FL to NY and back. It rides and handles great, good acceleration, great sound system, somewhat firm but comfortable seats, roomy and the tech is great. First time I used adaptive cruise control- great stuff! I averaged about 27 MPG, pretty good for a SUV this size. I see some reviewers say the interior has some unattractive … panels- Looks great to me. I do agree that the view to the right rear quarter is a bit obstructed, but then the wide view rear mirror covers that area pretty well. Anyway, after almost 4K miles, overall I think Chevy did a bang-up job on this SUV. The one thing I wish Chevy changed was the lane change alert signals you of a car in your blindspot by a yellow indicator on the sideview mirror, but there is no audible indicator if you put your blinker on. That would be a definite improvement.
Update- Now in month 10 with the Traverse. I still love it! Comfortable, great ride and handling, not a single complaint. I absolutely would recommend a buyer look at this vehicle if you are in the market for a 3 row SUV.
March 2025- I have about 7K miles on it (I'm retired and don't take a lot of long trips). Runs like a charm. Comfortable too. Last of the 6 cyl models. Plenty of pep. Not the best on MPG, but will get 25 on the hwy. Passengers love the 2nd row captains seats. Lots of leg and headroom back there too. The adaptive cruise control as well as the 360 degree surround camera make driving and parking easy. Great car!
