We all know the reliability of this vehicle - what we don't know is how the 2022 will hold up. Hence my decision to get one of the last Platinums available. What we also know is this truck does not get the best gas mileage - do the math on the 22's. If they get the expected 30% better gas mileage it does so at a cost. It needs premium fuel to achieve those numbers. Here in Wisconsin premium sits at about .90 cents more a gallon or approximately 25% higher that regular. I will bite the bullet on 5-10% more gas expense with the peace of mind of reliability. Im not bashing the incoming model at all because i have not seen in person. I just think that for me it was a great move getting the last run of a fantastic pickup -

I purchased this Tundra 3/05/21. I love it! gas mileage is Awful. but I love this truck! A person coming from a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. super upgrade for me.

Bought this truck in April of this year, and have put over 15000 miles on it and no issues at all. I can’t say the same for the brand new Silverado I owned prior to this tundra or the Jeep Wrangler prior to the chev. So far Toyota has exceeded what I experienced in the past. I know people say it’s old to what was out there but they can’t say that it isn’t a solid choice!
