Used 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO 4dr Double Cab 4WD 5.0 ft. SB (3.5L 6cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Under powered, mushy brakes
Test drive trd pro with all the options. I can say it was the most under powered vehicle I have ever drove. The brakes were just as bad, mushy plunger, had to smash petal. The transmission was so bad, I asked the salesman if it had a cvt transmission it was that bad. Fit and finish was acceptable. 4wd drive options were overly complex. Head unit seemed long in the tooth and not acceptable.

What you'd expect!
This is an outstanding vehicle filled with off-road capabilities along with adding a ton of entertainment and safety features. The vehicle is the perfect size if your looking for something to tow heavy stuff, but you would prefer not to require a tank to do so. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone with a sense of adventure. Also, it's a Toyota, the reliability factor itself is an investment if you are one that puts less than 20k miles a year on your vehicles. Pros are: It sounds nice, it looks mean, it's comfortable for adults in the back as well as the front seats, it rides well, handles well on and of course, off the road, Reliable, tons of entertainment features, and it's reliable with an outstanding resale value. Cons are: Wish it had a moon/sun roof option, the telescoping steering wheel is nice, but I wish it went 1 or 2 inches higher, the back can be a little snug if you have to use a rear facing car seat for your kid, but then again, you probably wouldn't buy this vehicle if you planned on transporting lots of kids.
