Used 2021 Toyota Sienna Consumer Reviews
Best minivan ever!
It's been 4 days since I'd purchased a 2021 Toyota Sienna XLE. My kids love the wide interior of the 3rd row and the foot motion to open the sliding doors. Baby car seat fits perfect on the second row middle seat with adults seating facing the doors much more comfortably than my previous 2012 Honda Odyssey. There are some minor dislikes, the buttons for the climate control are a bit small and takes a good effort to regulate while driving. Also, due to its longer snout, it's hard to estimate the frontal limit but if you get the XLE, front and back parking sensors will help you avoid denting the front. Gas mileage is beyond my most optimistic expectations. I have to yet empty the gas tank but it is very likely to achieve 35 mpg as stated by Toyota. Functionality, esthetics and value have all met in 2021 Sienna. Will keep you posted with a second review when I reach 3k miles.

2021 Toyota Sienna
Just leased (6 days ago) a new 2021 Toyota Sienna. Very comfortable ride, Hybrid engine for good gas mileage, only done local driving but will see what kind of mileage we get this summer on our road trip to Florida, very smooth power from the accelerator, good stopping brakes, love the interior with the raised middle counsel between the front seats. One thing that is different is that the rear entertainment system does not come with a built in DVD player. There is a HDMI port, and a couple different casting methods. Had to buy a separate DVD player from Best Buy to be able to have my kids watch movies off the built in screen. So please be aware if you are considering this van and need the RES.

very good not great
We needed a van to transport large electric mountain bikes. The 2nd seat can come out if need be (check youtube), but I can get both bikes in with wheels on through the side door (rear seat down, middle seat full forward and collapsed. Lots of tie-down positions. Fuel economy is excellent, ~37 mpg when on local roads and regional hwys going 50-55 mph (80-90kph). Drops a lot if going 75mpg (120-125kph), to high 20s mpg. Lots of cost cutting evident in our Canadian XSE: no bumper sensors, no tinted windshield, some cheap feeling materials on console (we also have a new Venza Limited which is far more luxurious), cheap plastic covering the alloy rims (20"); rear seats do not fold as flat as competitors; dim internal lighting at night. We like the bridge because it will hold a mongo coffee carafe without spilling, and my wife's purse fits well under the bridge. Seat and steering wheel warm fast, seats ok for comfort, visibility is good, no quality issues thus far. Stereo not as good as up-level JBL but fine. Needs wireless carplay. Noisy when you boot it but quiet when cruising.

Third Sienna, probably last
I have owned 3 different generations of Sienna I drive on average 80000 miles /year. The new one : What I like is the gas mileage and exterior design. What I don’t: Compared to previous generations same trim - the materials inside are much cheaper, easy to scratch, break or be thorn. Cargo space 30% less. A/C and heater is a joke - very loud and not efficient for the back rows. The estimated mileage when driving is not accurate- in the last 100 miles left on a tank for every mile driven, computer is reducing 3 miles estimated range. What I really despise is the car seat material, which makes you sweat constantly. Hate the fact that I have no spare tire. Supposedly it’s optional, but it ended up being the only way to go, if I didn’t wanted to wait another 6 months I have 3 colleagues driving the same model and they have the absolutely same issues.

Mileage is good but acceleration can be better
1. Mileage is Good and look is great from the outside 2. Dashboard looks amazing 3. Factory speakers doesn't have clear sound compared to Mazda speakers I had (These are not premium) 4. Interior is made of lot of plastic materials that don't stay in position and almost feels like toy car inside with some of loosely attached components. 5. Acceleration feels like a drag and doesn't have a smooth ride which Toyota engines are most famously known for. You can hear a lot of engine sound when you accelerate 5.
