Shortly after purchasing my Sienna, I began having problems. The dealer couldn't figure out why my check engine light came on several times a week, so they sent the van to another dealer two hours away. That dealer replaced the computer. My radiator has been replaced, all hoses have been replaced, and the fuses blow constantly. I LOVE this van as far as comfort and ease of driving. I am just very disappointed that I spent this much money and I'm having this many problems. We are in the process of purchasing another vehicle.

I am what most consider a loyal Toyota owner, having owned over 5 Toyotas. All of which I have driven over 200,000 miles a piece. My second car, which I still own, is a Camry with 354,000 miles and still looks/runs like new. This is the main reason for our selection of the Sienna as reliability and quality is of utmost importance to us. Atlas, Sienna did not disappoint us! After 30,000 miles with two trips to Florida, and uncountable trips to NY, some of which included towing a trailer....it has convinced me that I made a wise decision once again to purchase a Toyota for my growing family. In addition, the dealer treats me as if I am king!

Sienna LE should have power back door

With 2 kids and a growing family, 2004 Sienna fits perfectly. The ride is very smooth and quiet. The engine is so powerful. It would be great if the LE comes with both power sliding doors and power back door. There should be an alarm when the headlights are on when the ignition key is removed.

Too Many Odd Problems

We bought this van when they were first released and we've had the feeling that Toyota was rushing to get them out to the dealerships. The driver side window fell off track and broke inside the door, the power door locked open and we had to cut the cable to get it closed, brakes and tires were replaced, and now the power steering needs repaired. Nothing has been covered under warranty or recall so far. We do wish we had held off and bought a Honda and may end up taking a loss and trading it in even though we had hoped to drive it for many more years.

Considering it is a minivan, it looks and feels good. it has plenty cargo/passenger space and plenty cup holders. it is built for family usage, so don't expect any excitement from driving it. I wanted to get leather seatings, but they were only available in XLE model.
