Fix gas pedal lull

Acceleration pedal seems to be disconnected from vehicle. When the vehicle is coming to a rolling stop and then you need to accelerate there is no gas pedal for some distance, give it a little extra and you spin the tires when it catches. The problem is amplified in slick road conditions.

Got caught up in the Hype

Owned 97 Caravan (110,000 miles), toss of a coin between this or the Odyssey. Newer Chryslers had to much plastic. Got caught up in the Toyota hype. Have 4000 miles, 3000 from recent vacation trip. Hopefully the reliability will overcome the disillusion I currently have. The issues maynot effect shorter drivers as much (6'2"). It may have more cubic feet but not as practical or useable as my Caravan (with the exception of the fold down seats). Not stable in high winds or near large trucks traveling at interstate speeds. Alignment scheduled!!

Interior Improvments Needed!

Vehicle is great except the the build quality of the interior. It looks great, but it rattles, creaks and moans. Certainly didn't expect that in a Toyota.

1 year & 18.5K miles later, we have had no problems with this minivan. Have been pleasantly surprised at its practicality. Extremely spacious. Had to go on a 90 day tour of duty away from home, family came with me and we were able to pack so much into the van. Kids love the DVD and it handles well on the road. Would definately buy another Sienna in the future.

Shortly after purchasing my Sienna, I began having problems. The dealer couldn't figure out why my check engine light came on several times a week, so they sent the van to another dealer two hours away. That dealer replaced the computer. My radiator has been replaced, all hoses have been replaced, and the fuses blow constantly. I LOVE this van as far as comfort and ease of driving. I am just very disappointed that I spent this much money and I'm having this many problems. We are in the process of purchasing another vehicle.
