Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsThere's a modest advantage to pedal overlap worth about half a second. Still, it's loath to leave, but once under way, it knocks off upshifts like clockwork. Engine noise is evident at almost any rpm, as if it is meant to be heard, not a happenstance.
Braking commentsConsistent pedal feel, stopping distances and moderate dive. Nothing out of the ordinary with only a little odor and no smoke after five stops. First was the shortest and last was only 3 feet longer.
Handling commentsSlalom: ESC "off" only widens the envelope and allows a generous amount of sliding -- mostly at the rear, which is a little unusual. Smoothness is rewarded and ultimately the best run was virtually slide-free. With ESC on, the system is well tuned and essentially matches the ESC-off pace.
