It was very exact n proper n offered so many xtra details that i didn’t want r need. The seats were made for some tight butts n hemmed me in. They seemed small n cheap n irritating. The front wheels/ steering wheel seemed too loose in puddles

Auto Parking Brake: Fingernails on Blackboard

Have a ‘21 Ltd and ‘22 X (menu did not list these options, but both are V-6), both do it. Every single time you put it in park. And it is LOUD. Heads turn. Dealer says “Yeah, they all do it…there’s no fix.” ??? Seriously? Are we the only ones? (Haven’t seen any other reviews calling this out.) What an embarrassment for a company like Toyota that built its reputation on quality. Best yet, I advised our service manager, “You might want to run this up the pole with corporate…it is annoying enough to leave Toyota on the next vehicle.” The reply? (With semi-brain dead look): “You might have better luck contacting them directly.” HUH??? So I did. And THEIR reply? (Mind you, they already have my complete contact info.) “Please send name, number, email, home address, name of dealer, address of dealer, VIN…along with a brief explanation…” I told them they have access to ALL of that info should they care to lift a finger. Honestly — someone is that upset about their Toyota to reach out and your customer “friendly” reply is THAT??? An even bigger embarrassment. I’m surprised they didn’t ask for a DNA scrape & blood type. Time to look elsewhere. (PS - Not a single peep out of corporate since. Well done, folks.) There was a time at Toyota when everyone cared.

My Highlander

GaryN, 02/04/2023
2023 Toyota Highlander XLE 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl Turbo 8A)

The 2023 that I test derived road the same as my 2017 did. It was a little nosier and didn't seem to me that it had the pickup that my 2017 had. Not sure if that was because of the switch to a four cylinder. My 2017 had 19 inch tires and this one had 18 inch. I did like the new console. How ever when I told the saleman that I would want the upgraded one he said he didn't know if he could get one and the model that I wanted would take at least six weeks to get in.

LOVE the new TURBO engine and TECHNOLOGY!

I’ve had my new 2023 Highlander LE for three months and have nothing but praise for this SUV!! I had test driven a V6 in the past and the performance from this turbo is outstanding. I currently have 2700 miles on it and am averaging above the stated mpg’s. The wireless apple CarPlay works flawlessly and the drive connect features are so intuitive. Love the center console and storage shelves on the dash. Nothing but good things to say about this wonderful vehicle!
