2003 Toyota Highlander AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A)

Just bought my highlander and I am loving it. Drives so smooth, like a sedan, and the AWD is a lifesaver living in New England. Great in the snow, and the gas mileage isn't bad since I bought the 4 cylinder. For all of you wondering how the 4 cylinder does with AWD, it's plenty for me! It's not a speed demon but has plenty of power, I'm really happy with it.

This is my first SUV. Before it, I owned a 2000 nissan quest. I'm trully in love with this vehicle. The suspension is so soft when going over the pothole filled roads of New York streets. It has a decent amount of power and more trunk space then I can ask for. After I let some friends drive it they fell in love with it as well and bought their own. Now there's 3 of us :)

We did our homework on SUV's over a period of months & time & time again,we kept returning to the Toyota highlander. With the quality built into this vehicle,we can see ourselves holding on to this vehicle for a good 6 or 7 years or possibly longer. In other words, you get what you pay for.

We needed car-like ride and handling and the Highlander delivers. Plenty of room, especially front-seat footroom, plus a noise-free ride. Outstanding dependability and top-notch build quality make an excellent value. The transmission is especially smooth and the standard audio features user-friendly knobs and big, lighted buttons. The 220-hp V-6 is smooth and powerful enough. Mileage is as advertised, 23 mpg when driven sensibly. The 60-40 split rear seat easily folds flat creating 81 cubic feet of cargo capacity. The quality of interior materials is good, although the dash is hard, grained plastic and the plush ivory cloth is not child-frieldly. Visibility and handling are strengths
