The base model is beautiful and overall Toyota ends up being the most reliable car overall. Great car for every day use.

2023 Toyota Corolla SE 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl CVT)

First off, Edmund's states the LE is more powerful, wrong!, wrong, wrong! The SE has a larger engine and dual injection, port & direct injection that produces 169 HP, the LE only has 129 HP. Torque is significantly higher in the SE. BTW Edmunds, the LE does not have the 2.0 engine, it has the 1.8 liter engine. Get it right Edmunds Yes, the SE is not as quiet as the LE, but that's largely due to the 18" low profile tires and stiff suspension/chassis design which provides tight sporty handling characteristics. I bought mine brand new, it now has 140k miles on it and I have had zero problems, zero! Tranny was starting to act sluggish at around 90k miles, had the fluid changed, back to normal operation.
