I bought my 2017 Corolla Im brand new, It's a sharp looking car that gets great gas mileage (40 hwy) and with the back seat folded down you can fit all kinds of yard sale bargains !

The 6 speed manual is bad
I bought this car in 2021 used 21000 miles Clutch is sky high numb unforgiving with a paper thin bite point. Throttle is laggy with rev hang To start off u gotta rev it up and blindly release the clutch it's like a hillstart but on flat ground 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 are jerky I actually feel I gotta be back on gas before I release the clutch When this thing gets warm it idles at 500 n shakes you really gotta gas it then To think I learned on a 01 dodge neon and owned a 96 4cyl s10 for years that was stick. The im gets good gas milage will probly last forever to torture me
I didn't buy
I was excited to check out the Corolla I'm but immediately put off by the garish slash of misplaced design across the dash and the fact that there was no CD player. Some of us still like cd's and don't really want to be put into a position to have to buy some over priced iphone just to enjoy a little music. Anyway what about books on cd for those long trips. Not everyone wants to conform to your idea of the latest trend, no need to fix what isn't broken. See ya, I'm off to by something else.

Bought it new and I still love it.
This was the first car I have ever owned that was brand new and I still love it! Pros: compact, nice gas mileage, hatch gives decent cargo space for compact car, rear seat folds forward for hauling large items, sport mode is zippy and fun, mine has the all weather package with makes cleaning easy. Con: It is a bit tight on space with 2 car seats installed (didn't have 2 kids when I purchased it). Sometimes in hot weather (95F+) acceleration is slow- Not sure if it was the car or tires but this has gotten better over time. On rare occasions the brake alert will go off even though there is no car in front. I think it is due to the suns reflection and/or the curve of the road and cars parked on the side. Overall I love this car. The cons do not bother me but they are somethings to be aware of if you are interested in this car.
