When I leave my Toyota Camry hybrid parked for more than seven days the battery goes dead, and I am unable to start my car or even open the car door. I took it to the Toyota dealer and they checked the battery and other components on the car and said nothing was wrong. He said the reason why it goes dead is that the computer never shuts off. They advise me to run my car every few days. They also suggested that I put it on a trickle charger. But what happens if I leave my car at the airport for a week when I go on vacation.? What happens when my daughter goes to school in this car and leaves it parked in the parking lot for a week. What should she do when it doesn’t start late at night? Toyota dealerships said they have problems with all of their Their new cars on the show floor. They say that they repeatedly have to jumpstart their cars. This is an engineering design floor. When I talk to the Toyota corporation advocate, he had no solution to the problem. I have never gotten customer service like this before. I’m going back to my Chevy. Their customer service is outstanding.

I got my car in July, againt all odds as it is difficult to find one in Canada, and so far I am loving it. It is a really sharp looking car, I am getting about 45 mpg on the first 2 tanks of gas and have heard this will improve in future. I find it to be comfortable, the interior is very nice and practical, and there is plenty of room for my family of 4. The safety features work very well, and I am enjoying the blind-spot monitor and the adaptive cruise control. As it was not drastically changed from the previous design, I believe it will be a typical reliable Toyota in the long-term.

I Never Thought I'd Be A Camry Owner...

I'm a car nut. For the past thirty years, I've always owned at least one Porsche -- and I still drive a Macan -- so what would compel me to buy a Toyota Camry? Several reasons, including value and reliability, the re-styling, and the hybrid drive train of the 2025 model... and believe it or not, the driving experience. The 2025 Toyota moves a mainstream, predictable brand to a whole new level. The re-designed front end looks pretty baller, and the "Underground" color with black alloy wheels gives the car a pleasantly aggressive appearance. The interior, which was also redesigned, is nicely upmarket and comfortably functional, and the rear seat, unlike the Macan, can actually accommodate two adults. But maybe the biggest surprise was the driving experience. I wasn't prepared for the smoothness of the hybrid set up, and the handling and acceleration, while not high end German, are damned close to some of the Mercedes and BMWs I've owned. In fact, there's even a "sport" drive setting that tightens up the gearing and handling a bit, and is very enjoyable. Lastly, there's the gas mileage. I didn't buy the car to save money, but I must say I'm enjoying the heck out of the savings. I think when the Porsche starts getting on in years I'll move "up" to a Highlander! BTW, yesterday I saw a four door BMW sedan with the same color scheme. The driver saw my SE and gave me a thumbs up. Hey, I'll bet I'm at least $40 grand ahead...

2025 Camry XLE Has Problems. Think Twice

I've owned this car for nearly 4 months and initially had no issues. In the past month, I've had numerous issues relating to the electronics and many of the vehicle's features associated with them. Specifically: Dashboard displays blank out or change to other screens without any input from me Lane Departure Assist was deactivated twice and turned itself back On both times, after a period of weeks. I hate this feature and finding it back On............I was not pleased Seat slide and driver's seat programming have stopped functioning, repeatedly While driving on the highway, Cruise Control has turned On without any action on my part. It scared the crap out of me when the vehicle suddenly accelerated in heavy traffic Apple CarPlay keeps disconnecting and I have to reconnect it manually All of my radio presets have erased and had to be reset - which is not easy in this vehicle Frequently, the car does not recognize me as the driver (I think it links with my phone) and thinks I am a guest driver. The last time was when I took it to a carwash and someone else drove it int/out of the tunnel. When I got in it, much of my programming was gone. It has TOO MANY features and they are highly distracting. This is my 3rd Camry. I liked my 2012 XLE Hybrid much better. I wish I'd kept it.

Drove a 2000 Camry top trim for 25 years and passed down to all the children. In July I purchased the 2025 Camry XSE, and could not be more thrilled about it. At first glance it looks more like a $70,000 Lexus than it does a Toyota. The interior is incredibly Luxurious. The exterior has unbelievable lines and detail. The technology is mind blowing for it to be, yes, a Toyota Camry. I’m averaging about 44 MPG and paying 30-some-odd dollars for a 480 mile radius…absurd. You get the eye catching style with it still being the reliable and dependable brand of Toyota. Would recommend to anyone. Young or old; single or family car; it has trims for everyone. The XLE and XSE are so similar in price it just depends what YOU like. I test drove both and to me, it was a no browner that the XSE was for me. The red interior is ridiculously sharp and the black alloy wheels add yet another luxurious touch. 10/10, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up.
