I really like the new exterior styling of this car. It's a step in the same direction as the more aggressive look that Chrysler has taken, without being overbearing. The 4 cyl engine is surprisingly powerful compared to other 4 cyl's I've owned. The interior is very quiet at highway speeds.

I bought this car 2007 Toyota Camry LE 4cylinder last Nov,2006. The car has a mileage of 45,000 . Unfortunately the water pump leaked and the drive belt tensioner needs a replacement. I went to my dealership and I was informed that my car pass the 5 years warranty. I bought the parts at parkway toyota: water pump:$175.00 drive belt tensioner assembly $387.00 + the labor of my mechanic. OEM of toyota is made by AISIN , the drive belt tensioner is Made in Canda by Litens. Todays Toyota car is not the same durability as the previous model. In the near future I'am better off purchasing Nissan or Honda car

Now my Camry is about 2 years old. Dealer has to replace my strut because of oil leak. Also, I was told battery need to be replaced soon. Tire is about to worn out at 27k. I like this car and do maintenance regularly. I was driving 91 Camry for long time and it's quality deeply impressed me. I couldn't believe new Camry work like this. I feel disappointed.

Liked my 03 better in some way

Just picked up a new 07 Camry LE automatic with the base 4 cylinder. Traded an 03 of the same model in for it. New model is a tad quieter but still doesn't handle really well. The styling is ok in some areas and weird in others. The front end treatment looks like it has a buck tooth and the rear looks droopy. I like the style of my 03 better. The interior is nicer though. I would wish for more than 158 hp and a transmission that didn't react with a clunk when you take your foot off the accelerator to take a turn. Also why is every new Toyota being made without the door strips to protect from so many unforgiving motorists from door jams? Trunk is smaller than my 03 also.

I purchased my car based on having owned two other Toyotas in the past. I so regret buying this car. I should have waited and purchased an Acura. There is something seriously wrong with the transmission; it does not want to change and this is getting worse. Believe it or not my sun visor is broken on the driver side. Whoever heard of a sun visor breaking. Anyway whatever keeps it up, the spring, etc is broken, you can run your hand across the top and see that it has popped open. Of course I can get it fixed for about $200 at the dealer. I have a 2000 Camry and it is better than this one. Oh did I mention that the carpet I had replaced now has another hole in it. Never Again!
