It's OK

I've had the car for 6 months. I've also experienced sulphur smells from the A/C. The loud scraping noice for the ABS actuator is annoying. The seat length is a little short for me (6'2"). There is a creaking noise in the front dash and the suspension groans a little. The CD player burnt out and had to be replaced. Those are the bad things. I will give the Camry credit for being a quiet car and it does ride well. The controls are laid out very well (except cruise control).

I could not be more pleased with my purchase. It is very fun to drive, smooth and quiet. When I first drove it I couldn't believe the engine was running! It has great pick-up, tight handling, and very comfortable seats (front and rear). This is by far the best used car purchase I have ever made!

Fun to drive sports sedan that can haul the family. Roomy interior and a classy exterior design that is appealing to the eye. I did experience sudden jerking 40-50 MPH while in 4th gear overdrive when you let off the gas. I upgraded the fuel from 87 to 93 octane (91 or higher recommended) and the problem seems to be resolving itself, but not yet resolved. Dealer could not identify the problem. Is it just my CAMRY that is doing this? Overall, we like the car. Rory

My wife and I bought this car in February. We had driven the Nissan Maxima, Honda Accord (owned a Civic and CRV,so didn't want the same old blah Honda design) and looked at others as well. We finally narrowed in down to the Maxima and the Camry SE V6. We drove them back to back, Camry first. The Camry SE absolutely blew away the Maxima. The Maxima is more powerfull at 255 hp but the build quality wasn't there. It had a rough ride and a cheaper looking interior. The Camry is very roomy and comfortable. The engine purrs like a kitten. My wife drives it to work, but I can't wait for when I get to drive it on the weekends!!! Fabulous car....definitely not dissapointed.
