Very Dependable and Comfortable Car
Brought the car new in Jan 2002. Initially a few bugs as the first year model. It had a dash noise which the helpful dealer fixed under warranty in their second try. Fuel filter changed under warrant at 5000 miles. Those are the only things wrong and the car is at 140,000 miles today. Very dependable and comfortable car which I drove everywhere with my family in it. Only regular maintenance and mobile 1 full sync oil with 10,000 OCI. Recently I cleaned the Throttle Body and idles like new again. Will keep it until wheels fall off, but it seems I will wait a long time for new cars as this one is strong.
Great Car for the money
I have owned this car for 6 years. I bought it with 24k miles. The only problems I have had are the transmission started to slip some and cause hesitation. I had the tranny flushed and this solved the problem. The paint is now peeling on the drivers front and rear quarter panel but I do not have a garage and it has gone through several storms. Overall a great car with no problems at 107K miles to date. I bought this car certified and I recommend that very highly.

satisfied, but would consider others, too
I got what I expected, reliability. I do not think the brakes are as good as my 1992 Camry. Front seats are not deep enough. Head rests do not fit a short person! Some plastic interior pieces are cheap. I like not having to have headlights on.
Take Notes GM
I bought the car with 80k on it and I have 107k miles on it now after just over a year. Had no problems. Ive done only standard maintenance (oil change, tires, etc) and changed the front brake pads. It's my 2nd Toyota car after a long line of GM failure cars that I purchased. GM Take note, this is how you get customers, if you build a reliable vehicle, they will come. If you're looking for a fun car to drive you will not get it with this car. It has no bells and whistles. You get 100% reliability and that is it.
Great and reliable car
I received this car as a hand-me-down from my aunt in 2009 with 66K miles. In the three years in my possession, it is the most reliable car I've ever owned. In those three years, it has not needed anything for inspection, which makes me happy. Now at 104K miles, there are two MINOR problems that I discovered, such as a 'moaning' steering wheel and a recent minor fuel leak. Overall it is a very trustworthy and stubborn car. I definitely recommend this car to anyone.
