Used 2005 Toyota Camry Solara Consumer Reviews
Worth every penny !!
Great styling, comfortable but stable ride, excellent engine response, radio controls on steering wheel handy and easy to use, many features found on cars costing much more.

Super fun! You'll get lots of looks and people will stop you and ask what is it. Great engine and great mileage. Back seat has lots of leg room for adults and is very comfortable. The sound system is very impressive too! The only draw back is the dash could be a little higher for a better view for taller drivers and the numbers for the average mileage / range/ instant mileage, the clock, and the outside tempature are a little hard to read during the day. But this is the most fun car I've ever own. I highly recommend this car!

Great economy, zero fun
Very reliable, great mileage. Very uncomfortable interior design. Toyota cheaped out on the interior. The seats are the worst. Body looks great but feels cheap and looks cheap when you look close. Great truck space. Very zippy for a 4 cylinder. Radio controls on steering wheel are nice but they don't allow you so scan, you can only choose preselected channels??
Love it!
Just as my 1986 Toyota Camry was great, this 2005 Solara is greater. This car has great styling, quality, dependability, and ease of driving. The SLE model is fabulous since it does everything for you. You don't have to think about doing anything like when to put on or off the headlights or adjust the temperature, just set it and forget it. Makes my life so much easier and pleasant. I love it!
great decision
I recently purchased a SLE V6. Great decision! Interior fit and finish is fantastic, the engine is barely audible, and the ride is smooth and controlled. Love all the options for the price-V6, leather, heated seats, sunroof. The 2006's are out and I got a great deal on my 2005 model. Several dealers were willing to negotiate, I think they are trying to move the 2005 models off the lots. I compared it with the Honda Accord coupe (nicer inside, classier styling, manumatic instead of auto or 6 speed), the Infiniti G35 (much quieter, nicer inside!), and the Merecedes 230 sedan and coupe (more horses, much quieter, huge price advantage). I highly recommend this vehicle!
