Never Again

Worst choice I've ever made in a vehicle. Charged full sticker price eventhough I asked what was the dealership's best price as per their "lowest price guaranteed" billboard. Day of delivery took over 2 hours to get the car. Car delivered dirty. I was asked to pay half the cost of the cargo net that was promised by the salesperson. Dealership very unresponsive to my concerns. Steering is very loose. Car seems to float over the road. Tires spin on wet pavement. Driver's seat has NO lower back support. Tilt steering blocks the view of the gauges. 4 cylinders lack power for merging onto highways. Carpet sheds! Worst of all is Toyota's poor customer assistance.

This car drives effortlessly! Is very quiet. Handles great. Roomy inside even for backseat passengers. Would highly recommend this vehicle!

Luxury and Fun

The Solara has been a fun and reliable car. It handles well in snowy conditions and is so much fun to drive in the summer. I have had so many compliments on what a nice looking car I have! Visibility is a problem when the top is on, as with all convertibles, however, you get accustomed to it. It does have a couple second delay when accelerating, once it gets past that...you're gone! It's a good combination of luxury and fun! Love this car!

I have had absolutely no issues with my Solara at all. There are no rattles regarding interior components or moldings, the fit of both interior and exterior panels are perfect. I can drive it conservatively and get 27 to 28 miles to the gallon with 91 octane fuel. Even if I decide to push it a bit harder, I can still get 25 to 26 miles per gallon. I have gotten many positive comments regarding the exterior styling of the vehicle. I had this Solara built so have all of the sporty upgrades but none of the fluffy upgrades (I didn't need a mirror that told me which direction I was going). The tuning upgrades have not affected the comfort of the ride as far as I can tell. I researched vehicles for 1 year before I bought, looking at Volvos, Mustangs, Hondas, everything that compared. This vehicle is the best hands down. I love this car!!
