2025 Subaru Forester Consumer Reviews

Vague steering spoil a nice car
My fifth new car, my first Subaru. I like the room, ride, quietness, power and gas milage are fine. I was compromising buying a Subaru. Not a fan of boxer engines or all wheel drive. It's hard to find a room non AWD vehicle. The real problem is the vague, disconnected steering. I'm sorry I bought the car after only 1300 miles. Dealer days there is nothing wrong and I believe them.

Energetic!
Love the design, interior cosmetics, and handling! Rides smooth and turns corners fairly good. Spacious interior and large windows. The additional wilderness features are a plus. Overall, makes you feel like you’re going on a wilderness adventure every time you hit the road!

Reliability meets Functionality!
I’ve had my Forester Premium for almost a week and have been loving all the features! From safety features, like lane departure alerting and blind spot detection, to convenience feature, such as an easy to navigate central control panel and a million ways to adjust the seat to make it feel like a perfect fit, you really can’t go wrong!

Missing features
Replaced a 2023 Soltera Touring for a Forester Hybrid Touring and found the following features that were available on the Soltera that are missing on the hybrid. 1. Automatic folding outside mirrors 2. Homeling controls on rearview mirror 3. Automatic seat retract on turning off engine 4. Automatic parking brake when placing car in Park A little disappointed that Subaru did not include these features on their top of the line car.

Really solid ride .... and quiet
This is my 3rd Subaru, but the first 2025 Forester purchased this week. First of all, I disagree (respectfully) with the Edmund's reviewer. This car was unjustly rated too low. The visibility is great and the steering/handling is solid. Unlike other vehicles, the infotainment center is "Built" into the dash and does not stick out. At 70 mph this Forester is quiet.... amazing. And yes, there is plenty of power for pickup and passing. Seats are very comfortable and the Harman Kardon stereo system is a wonder. I made the right choice !!!
