Used 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium PZEV 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
DISAPPOINTED - TERRIBLE RIDE
I've driven a 2006 Forester until now which I loved, but unfortunately hit a deer (great crash test results, however!) This one has some pros: roomy, great views, love the CVT, peppy, nice radio, but: This car has the worst ride of any vehicle I've ever driven. I don't know how they passed this new suspension. If you have back problems or kidney problems, this is not your vehicle. You will feel every tiny bump in the road. Other reviewers have called the ride 'skittish', 'unsettled', 'jittery', 'tiresome and annoying'. I agree with all of those. It is a very hard ride, very jarring - constantly bumping and jostling, while at the same time rocking side to side. It's a shame because
Ow means winter people lol google it. not weight
Yes in fact the oil recomended for the car is great and the dealer is full of it the 0w 20 means WINTER. That means the oil is better in low temp conditions, the weight is measured by viscosity. And yes i also bought a 2014 lemon that the dealer could have disclosed the oil burning problems of the past and present. But the keep their mouths shut and keep selling subarus. Looks like honda made good on their oil problems and extended warenties so buy a honda i guess or a car from the 90's lolol

No Fear driving
I have lived in New England year around for 40 years, and this is the best winter driving car I have ever owned. Best on snowy roads, best on icy roads, best in heavy rain. I drive 20,000 miles per year.

SERIOUS WORD OF WARNING REGARDING FORESTER
Take my word for it, the VERY worst thing about this vehicle, at least in SW Ohio, is: YOU CANNOT GET ONE. Kid wrecked my car (2006 Escape) 3 weeks ago. Immediately went to a Subaru dealer to look (first time owner), the dealer had 12-20 on the lot, every color, option, etc. Went back 8 days later ready to buy: There were ZERO on the lot, 5 in the back fresh off the truck, couldn't buy those cause they were already sold. At another dealer: Stopped because we were in the area. He had three: One in showroom, one new on lot, one 4000 mile demonstrator on lot. We were there 1/2 hr., while there: He sold the one in showroom and new on lot. BEWARE!
Fun crossover, worth the wait!!
After 6 weeks of wait, I finally received my marine blue Forester premium. I _love_ this vehicle. It's zippy, responsive and fun to drive. It has a nice tight turn radius and is easy to maneuver. It feels safe. It has great ground clearance but still seems to hug the road in stormy weather. It's also really open and very easy to see everything around you, and the premium model has a backup camera included.
