This little car handles so well and has plenty of pick up when you need it. It does have 2 blindspots but if you adjust your mirrors well you should be fine. It is a fun car to drive and great stereo sound. A lot of car for your money.

The paint chips and scratches with ease. The are plenty of rattles. Many of the interior plastic covers( such as seatbelt bolts) have cracked. The optional leather seats are cracking ( garage parked). The sun roof freezes at on occasion. When I hit a small bump and brake, the brakes "skip" and make a metallic noise. Have complained to the dealer over the years. They say it is "normal"; however, a delay in braking is not "normal."The rotors started rusting on the first year.

First of all good luck finding one. Had to drive 300 miles to get a 5-speed Scion tC with side curtain airbags and the iPod radio. I also added a few more options. Before I gought, I tested the Acura RSX, VW Jetta, Mazda 3, and the Scion tC. What a great experience. Buying it was the best experience. the no haggle pricing and the dealership were great. This car is great. It has lots of power, tight handling, an excellent quality, all for less money than anything else I was looking at. It is surprisingly roomy inside. The driver's seat is comfortable but it took a while for me to find the right position. The iPod integration option is great, don't buy one without it. This car's excellent fuel mileage is a blessing. I am currently getting 29 mpg city and highway. My kids are gone and I'm having blast in this car.

best bang for the buck bar none! The standard options for this car are above ecceptional for a mear 17k, this car is equiped with features more like a 23k sedan. interior room is fantasic with enough room to fit 4 6' guys no problem. The dash is nicely appointed with satin silver finishes and a cool flip up door that covers the pioneer stereo. Performance is fantastic! keep in mind it is not a v8, but the 4 banger has enough guts to put a smile on your face. The handling is awesome with a little under steer when pushed but much less than most FWD's. steering and brakes are very positive with a secure feeling for the street. TRD sway bars and springs would be a good option for racing.
