I miss my L300!

I just traded my 2002 L300 in yesterday at 135K miles, but I felt so sad driving away from it because it truly was a great car. I bought it used about four years ago and have put over 100K miles on it in all my commuting. The car was excellent in rain, snow, wind, and on the freeway, and all the comfortable amenities such as the sunroof, great stereo, leather heated seats, etc., will be greatly missed. It started needing significant repairs fairly regularly around 115K miles and I finally decided to cut my losses and get a new vehicle. I have a little remorse now!

The Saturn L300 is a great car! I had a Saturn SL2 before this and the L300 is lightyears ahead of the SL2. I haven't had any problems with my L300 except about two years after I bought it, the engine wouldn't start. After running their tests they traced the problem down to a faulty PCM computer. They replaced the computer and now it's back in perfect health. As usual, the Saturn service team is extremely helpful and polite. I like the 4 disk breaks instead of disk & drum breaks. If you need to stop in a hurry the SL2 won't do it, but the L300 stops in an instant.

Im 17 and I bought my 2002 saturn L300 about 5 months ago, only 86,000 miles. I will admit, the car is 19 years old and as soon as I drove it into the drive way the starter went and the ignition switch and lock (common problem). it was a cheap and easy fix. Now I've put over 3,000 more miles on it without any problems. its very comfortable and it handles great. It great for a teenagers first car. Its pepy and it makes great gas mileage.

Great Car, Not so great paint

I like the performance of the V6, the standard options and even the extras that I thought I would not want (fog lights, sunroof and spoiler). This is the first car I have owned with any of these options. I absolutely love the heated seats. The milage is actually better than I expected (26 mpg average - it went up after the break-in period). The down side is that there is not much room in the back for my 2 medium sized dogs (or people). The paint on the hood was chipped after the first week. I hope they will take care of this as I plan to go to the dealer next week.

My First Saturn Wagon

As the owner of a Lincoln Town Car and having an invalid wife I need something that could easily handle a wheelchair and that would enable me to sit my wife in the front passenger seat without problems. It outdoes the Town Car in every respect. Just as responsive. Just as comfortable, easier storage access. Rides as well and a lot more economical on gas mileage. I made an excellent choice of vehicle.
