Great SUV

2022 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition 4dr SUV AWD (3.0L 6cyl Turbo gas/electric plug-in hybrid 8A)

This vehicle exceeds expectations. It is the kind of car that makes you look forward to driving far and as fast as you can while being easier on gasoline.

Amazingly fun to drive

I have a 2021 base model Cayenne and This vehicle is unbelievable, it’s surprisingly fun to drive, I was pleasantly surprise how well it handles in all road condition, how quiet the interior is and the power and quickness. I came out of a 2016 BMW X6 and it’s not close to my Cayenne in all luxury and performance categories.

Nope. False advertising. Clunky old technology

Still cannot find a single feature that is better than BMW. The 2025 Cayenne is clunky at best. The advertised electric mileage is completely false (you get about 30miles on a full charge vs advertised 60), and charging time is over 4 hrs on 220V and over 14 hrs on 120V). Ambient lighting is an absolute joke, features are clunky, can’t even see song titles or change the station from steering wheel, very limited user controls, almost zero console room, no auto drive or parking, very loud fan noise, electric mode sounds like a vacuum cleaner, gas mode is way too loud inside vehicle. Lacking many many features that competitors have today. Would never recommend.

Night drama

2023 Porsche Cayanne Hybrid is a trauma for night time driving with NO backup lights to show the way on the screen. Instead the screen is is dark & shadowy during backing up at night. Very scary & dangerous.

The 2024 Cayenne S Coupe new Twin Turbo V8 + more

Turbo V8, 08/01/2024
2024 Porsche Cayenne S 4dr SUV AWD (4.0L 8cyl Turbo 8A)

Awesome. Had it 6 weeks now including one long road trip. In 2024 Porsche made many performance and tech enhancements to the S Coupe. More advanced tech than previous years. The S Coupe is a big performance upgrade to the 2024 base model. New Twin Turbo V8, standard performance braking and performance suspension. In addition to "normal" driving mode it comes with "Sport" and "Sport Plus" which change the engine, transmission and suspension. Handling is great. Smooth ride with almost zero body roll per Car and Driver and I agree. Don't be intimidated by the high-tech features it is easy to use and powerful.
