Used 2009 Pontiac G6 Consumer Reviews
G6 how sweet
I have built and restored cars for 30 tears and have a huge portfolio in hands for anyone to see! It was my best hobby and living it. I bought a G6 2009 4dr sedan fir 5000 from salvage from a friend that do auctions for living. 29000km and still wondering of why it was salvaged as the only thing I had to repair was the passenger back wheel bearing?? . O loved this car so much that I decided to customize it and God I have done it good. My budget was 25000 to do it. I have replaced the seats with leather seats. I have done the top panel in white letter with the trims in carbon fibers( not fake but the one you use for vinyl on car) I have done the top half of the trims on the full inside body in white leather and finished the central light in carbon fiber so the roof and front inside lights control . I have added an Infinity sound system that worked the money paid for 😇 I have power coated the mags I have bought brand new in Transparent copper finish(chrome first and then Transparent copper. I have added 2 air intake but this one is for heat escape. As I have also a very hight knowledge of the high performance mechanic I have rebuilt the motor to have uhm ! A bit more power😉 which have required to also change my cooling fan!🙂 I have fully striped the car fir a new paint meaning changing color from black to a Lexys dark metallic smoke grey and God a thought to add a pearl after all! Did I mentioned to have added a turbo on it?...lol so at the end wirh expensive details like changing all the lights for LED from outside to inside and done forget the Anzo lights from CARID brief if I will be honest, I wouldn't trade that car for no one. I have modify the body so much ! With the aid of Monroe and Michelin I have put spacer 2 1/2 with on the four wheel naturally. This gas went 2 notch higher than the already tight driver this car already has. Too bad I can't put pics on here. Because you will see the back spoiler has turn light now in it instead to be in the back light which we took apart to rebuild it with LED LIGHTS And at the same time created a new crazy pattern with night shade and car drtailling masking tape. Brief I have every heads turning when this gut is on the road or park in front of the house. I have rebuilt cars but never and I meant never I had so much passion to rebuilt a car and I did it with 1948 Ford pick up and many many more but nothing compared to my pleasure to do the G6. Now my kids want it for themselves!!!! Really sons???

Pontiac builds excitement
Only owned the car for six weeks but it has been great so far. The relatively long wheelbase, for a car in this class, provides excellent ride. Owing to the fat 225/50-17 tires, taunt but compliant suspension and good steering response I, admittedly not a street racer, haven't found the limits of this car, yet. From what I've experienced, however, I expect the G6 to perform well in an emergency evasive maneuver. I'm 6'2" and found the back seat headroom to be adequate and the legroom quite impressive. Originally attracted by the clean, smooth styling and rake of the roofline. Really like the taupe leather interior, heated seats and security of OnStar. 31 mpg so far on a couple trips.

Typical GM.
My 2009 G6 base with 2.4 engine. I like Pontiac. I had this car last 4 years. I am at 186K miles. No problem with engine and transmission. But little things like window regulator and suspension was horrible. replaced all the front suspension parts. However I had 5 Pontiacs so far. Reliable powertrain and transmission and looking good. If somebody wants as first car for their kids, this isn't bad. If you want top quality lasting 300,000 without trouble, this is not it. However I just like Pontiac styling.,

2009 G6 Coupe is sweet ride
I used to have a toyota corolla. It was really boring. I just bought this used former rental '09 G6 coupe with leather, sunroof, and alloys a couple months ago for pretty cheap. I have to disagree with the Edmunds review. I love it. The exterior coupe looks sporty, the leather seats are comfortable and have good support, and it rides like a dream. I am getting 27 mpg mixed driving with the V6 3.5. I love the power. It feels good to drive an American car that has a lot of power, gets good gas mileage, and is fun to drive.

I really enjoy the hard top and good power. The top is just like a car door. Seals great and keeps the noise out. We have had a few problems over the past 12 years and 156.000 miles but not to the point we want to move on. The car got a paint job, front rear bumper covers and headlights and now looks like new. Still gets compliments. I’m pleased to have found a car that I haven’t grown tired of. And it’s pretty comfortable while motoring.
