20,000 dollar throw away car
Two months in to ownership had to replace computer module. Only 22 mpg should be better, front started rattling in less than one year. Went back to a Dodge full size truck. It' worth the gas money do not buy this car!
Its sharp!
This is my first new car, although this car is technically a used vehicle. I bought it with 12,500 miles on the odometer. Overall GM has done a good job with this vehicle. For the price I couldn't have gotten a better more stylish '07 midsize vehicle. $15,000 altogether and I have the V6, 17in alloys, and lip spoiler. I'm only 20yrs so I feel the design does a good job of apealing to a younger generation. Although I love my car a few things can be improved. I'm not a big fan of the hydraulic assisted steering, not sporty at all, not even as good as the '07 Carmy and that's not perfect either. GM cheaped out on the interior a little but thats nothing new. Ride quility is good though.

What the heck"
I brought my 07 G6 Pontiac going on two years ago. My car been in the shop more than 12 times for different issues. Steering gear went out 3 months of me having the car. Three months later it happens again. Back lights went out. Air bags need service light comes on but never been in an accident. Brakes replaced. The computer system reset had to get a jump for it to get reset. Wheel bearing needs to be replaced. So many issues with this car not a good car to buy. They need to have a recall on these cars or give us our money back!
Pretty good car but wouldn't own again
I've had my G6 GT for a year now and it has 114,500k miles on it. It's a very quiet drive which I love but the fuel economy for a daily driver is less than exciting. I have to fill up very frequently and it runs out as quickly as I do so. I would love it if I used it as a distance driver, it's great on highway mileage. It doesn't notify you when there is low coolant or any other fluids except oil and even then it only comes on the radio bar, not even in the driver's line of vision. No oil light. She has some real get up and go in her if you let her accelerate properly and goes very fast which I like but it is a problem in icy environments as you need to start very slow and she likes to take off. I've replaced my sparkplugs which was no biggy but now my suspension is having issues and making horrendous noises and GM is giving me a hard time with a lack of diagnosis, just that it's the suspension. It's been incredibly reliable however and would make a great first car or distance driver, not so much a daily driver.

Smooth
This car is one smooth ride. During the winter with my heated seats on I could probably fall asleep while driving it if I didnt have my nice loud factory speakers going. I have friends who always say they dislike American cars but they sit and ride in the G6 and they change their mind. Panoramic sunroof is real nice, its huge! I havent any problems with it in 6 months. Besides gas mileage and few minor things its a great buy!
