NV200

Although not the fastest van off the line, it has plenty of power and will reach highway speeds long before you get to the end of the on ramp. The cargo space has been enough for all the tools and equipment I have had to carry in my handyman jobs. Ride is to the plus side of OK and turning into tight spots has been a breeze. Visibility for changing lanes lacks, but the blind spot mirrors on each side help a lot, so learning to drive it is in order. The instrument panel is set up nicely and the steering wheel controls are easy and accessible. After the first thousand miles the gas mileage has been above the sticker of 24 and 25, getting 27.5 around town and 30 on the road even with some weight in the back. Overall I have been very happy with it and it has actually gone over my expectations for it. I test drove the Ford version and was not as impressed.

Nissan NV 200 timing chain

G. Martin, 12/05/2018
2018 Nissan NV200 S 4dr Minivan (2.0L 4cyl CVT)

If you are looking for a commercial van, don't buy a Nissan. My timing chain broke at only 147000 miles. The dealer did all oil changes and required maintenance. The chain should last the life of the engine, which according to everyone I talked to at Nissan is only as long as the warranty. Nissan does not stand by their vehicles and I will never by another one.

Nv200 Style, dependability and great fuel mileage

Tommy, 03/19/2019
2016 Nissan NV200 SV 4dr Minivan (2.0L 4cyl CVT)

I bought this van a few months ago. I read some not so good reviews. I love this van. I fit everything that was in my Astro Van in this Nv200.. Sure it is cheaply made, but I got it at a great price and it does everything I want it to do. It is not super fast but will go as fast as I want to go. It gets super gas mileage. I put aftermarket 16 inch wheels on it and Michelin Tires and it drives and looks great. It is all I can ask for.If they came with normal tires and wheels from the factory they would sell many more of them.

2015 NV 200 Neutral Safety Switch

Gene T, 06/10/2022

Please be aware if you bought a Nissan NV 200, the transmission neutral safety switch goes bad after about 120,000 miles. Nissan will not sell you just the switch to alleviate the problem. You have to buy a rebuilt transmission from Nissan at a cost of $4500. Tried calling 4 different Nissan dealerships which all stated part is not for sale. Contacted Nissan Corporate Customer Service and they started the same. With a new transmission, you get 12 month, 12000 mile warranty and has to be put in by Nissan dealership. Mine will start in every gear. God help if this pops out of gear and the damage it can cause.
