Used 2005 Nissan Altima Consumer Reviews
2005 altima
new improved exterior styling makes this vehicle much more masculine and interior materials are up to par with its competitors. fuel milage could be better for a 4 cyl. abs should be standard. otherwise much improvement over 2004 model.
Expensive but fun.
I've had this car for about a year now. I have both ups & downs with it. First of all, it is a extremely fun car to drive...the 3.5L engine is amazing, very powerful. Faster then most sports cars under $30,000. The interior overall is good, the seats are soft and comfy. It IS NOT squishy in the back, lots of leg room. Only flaws are the knobs, they seem very big and bulky. The ride is smooth when going fast, but when going slow it feels rough in general. I think the car is very good looking, has a sport look too it. I have put around $3,000 in the car for repairs in the last year. ABS brakes were broken, steering problems, new battery & O2 sensors. NO engine problems yet.

Good Car, Needs some Care
Bought the car from route22 nissan. nice car for a good deal and everything was smooth until I found out the AC is not blowing cold air. Called up service and they said its air conditioner and not air cooler and will only go 30 degrees of whats it outside.if its 90 outside inside will cool to 60 but I dont know if the AC has sensors as it turns off by itself and blows air and again it starts blowing cold air.The car is excellent other than AC.
A Tremendous Value!
I love my Altima. I have the luxury of a high priced designer vehicle without the dent in my wallet. I didn't realize that 4 cylanders had such great pickup. It's a pretty car, it's a peppy car, it's a reliable car. Why spen more?
Nice car
I love the car. My only concern is the gear shift. Third gear does not work as smooth as I would like. Perhaps it just needs to work its way out. So far I have 300 miles on it.
