...my BRAND NEW Altima w/ the power and BOSE package. It was a mistake saving a few dollars. I should of bought a Toyota Camry, like I wanted originally. The body lines of the Altima is nicer, in my opinion. That's about it! After about 3 weeks, I'm sick of this Altima! NO power seat for the passenger seat. Camry has power seat for the passenger. Dail controls are out of date. The horn sound on the keyless entry system reminds me of Cheap domestic cars! Engine sounds kinda loud when you step on the accelerator. The BOSE audio system on my Altima has the worst sound that I've ever listen too on a car audio system. The window fogs, if you don't have the AC on.

I ordered my Altima specifically to get the 3.5SE in black with the 5spd manual. It is probably the most fun car I have ever driven. Every time I get in I just smile. The imprvmnts over the 04 model is worth forgoing the 04 finance option and getting the 05. If you are thinking of getting a Maxima, definitely look at an Altima too. I have driven both the 04 Maxima, 04 and 05 Altima and can tell you a fully loaded Altima beats a basic Maxima any day, especially since it is 27K for a loaded Altima w/out Nav and 28K for a basic Maxima. Plus the Alti beats the Max in the 0-60. OR just wait till the 05 Altima SE-R comes out in September. nissanclub.com

I've had this car for about a year now. I have both ups & downs with it. First of all, it is a extremely fun car to drive...the 3.5L engine is amazing, very powerful. Faster then most sports cars under $30,000. The interior overall is good, the seats are soft and comfy. It IS NOT squishy in the back, lots of leg room. Only flaws are the knobs, they seem very big and bulky. The ride is smooth when going fast, but when going slow it feels rough in general. I think the car is very good looking, has a sport look too it. I have put around $3,000 in the car for repairs in the last year. ABS brakes were broken, steering problems, new battery & O2 sensors. NO engine problems yet.

I love my Altima. I have the luxury of a high priced designer vehicle without the dent in my wallet. I didn't realize that 4 cylanders had such great pickup. It's a pretty car, it's a peppy car, it's a reliable car. Why spen more?
