Over priced, poor handling, poor fuel economy, bad rear visibility - Other options worth pursuing.

Do not buy a sprinter van

We have a 2008 sprinter van which has all the good characteristics you menitioned but is very expensive to repair. We have had to replace two front headlight assemblies on the passenger side (1500 to 1700 dollars) and now we are told theHID bi-xenon are no longer available. Mopar customer care (Dodge Chrysler’s) said and I quote “this part has been discontinued- is no longer supplied by mopar. At this time I will be closing this case. “ Jacob mopar Customer assistance We planned to leave this week on a cross country trip - we have searched the internet, eBay etc for the headlight. this van 80,000 dollars plus, 11 years old and we can not get replacement parts.

This 2023 slides on ice sway in the wind. Goes out of control when crossing lines. Gets stuck in a inch of snow. 360 turns on ice. I'm terrified to drive my own van. . I don't recommend especially for women

Sprinter for life!

The second 2500 van ... still have the first! Yes, you can expect an expensive repair on occasion but the overall value is a total win. Fuel economy and excellent features and comfort. You can not beat the handling ... fantastic turning radius ... easy city parking ... and with the newer 6 cylinder diesel ... a ton of power!
