it is the best car
Love that Car......
This vehicle is the finest vehicle I have ever owned. I do not like driving on snow or ice, this vehicle makes it a pleasure. As long as you respect the road conditions. Taking it on a long drive is like going to the corner store, never tired always just want to continue the drive.
an excellent sport/ luxury car
If you have the money and the time I suggest getting it right away. YOU WILL LOVE IT
s class performance
one of the most incredible rides on the planet and a beautiful site to look at everyday.
THE REAL LOW DOWN
JUST A AWESOME VEHICLE IN IT SELF CONFIDENT STRIDEFUL AND FULL OF LUX. JUST LIKE BEING IN THE LIVING ROOM OF MY HOME COMFORTBLE AN SATISFYING, ABLE TO COMPEHEND THE CAR IN A EASY SAFE MANNER WHILE DRIVING IT, I ENJOY EVERY THING ABOUT IT!
NAV System
NAV system does not include all highways and street. I am very disappointed with the lack of streets for all the USA. Delorme Map Co. can put every street in the USA on one(1) CD, why can't Mercedes do the same? Maybe Mercedes should contract with Delorme for navigation map CD's.
The pride of owning a 2003 MB S500
This is hands-down the best & classiest auto built. I can tell you the looks that I get while driving this car are amazing! Valet always seems to run to park my car first! They all love the chance to drive this beauty! I have put more than 10k miles on it in 4 months because I love to drive it! Handles curves in the rain with no problem.
Mecedes S-Class
i like it alot it is fun to be driven in and the features are very nice it is also very comfortable and luxorias
Good But Not Great
S500 Sport. Forearms will grow because it takes real strength to guide car thru turns at low end. Best enjoyed at over 60 mph. Awesome acceleration at high end. Beautiful but uninspiring driver around town. Needs to be quicker. Plush interior, cavernous backseat. Nav system is not intuitive. Average sound system.
The only one
Heavy rain on New Yersey tpk, and no traffic, so perfect, it handles good, never drive a better car, love it!!!!
good
fun to drive but the lexus LS is better. Plan to trade it in for the LS
loving the ride...fingers crossed
I've had the car for 3 weeks. It handles GREAT! and the ride is magnificent . I'm having a ball using all of the great gizmos (most cabin functions are voice controlled, Keyless go, fully electronic trunk, and much more) Command is not nearly so difficult as the writers say you learn it in a few days. The 4matic, ESP and brake assist already got me out of what could have been a bad skid. My only concern is the occassional bad story of something going wrong with all of that technology, but I'm loving the car too much to really think about it. I guess that is what extended warrantys are for
absolutely perfect
stylish and fun to drive.2003 fit finish improvement are perfect
Still needs improvement
I believe Mercedes still has a lot of room to improve on their "high end" car. It was always my dream to own a "Big Mercedes" for the style, luxury, and comfort. I find it to be satisfying with the car, but disappointed with the lack of attention to the details. This car always had some minor electrical problems (turning lights, ets) that the dealer can never seem to figure it out. Navigation system needs major improvement (with touch screen). Nevertheless, I like the style and smooth acceleration of its fine motor. It's like a dream come true, but not quite perfect.
stress free driving
its truly a unique experience. Handling on tight corners, and plowing through the rain leaving 4-wheel trucks behind is awesome. Sports package really makes it appealing but for the 4matic front and rear tires are not staggered - the only complaint I have is memory seats require holding the button until completion, BMW-7 one touch and I wish my car had better gas mileage
NS
The car is perfect..exept the novigation system
awesome
best car I've every owned
Outstanding vehicle with a few quirks.
I have had incredible luck with my 2003 S55 AMG. I had to do the normal air ride suspension replacement with Arnott struts and replace the water pump, but past that it has been simply normal maintenance. Nothing else extravagant or costly. It rides wonderfully smooth and performs like a monster. Had a simple tune installed from Eurocharged Performance bumping it up to approx. 655 HP/643 TQ at the crank and 524 HP/514 TQ at the wheels (checked on a Mustang Dyno). It rides and performs better than my brothers 2018 S 560. The pushrod 5.5 L motor is hard to beat, simple design and bulletproof. With the issues that developed in the S63 motors, it wasn't uncommon to do the swap onto the new chassis. The paint does show its age but still a wonderful vehicle.

Super comfy
I really loving this model, despite changing one of the car air suspension but It really deserves this reputation, it’s really comfortable in driving , somehow decent in gas (AWD), spacious and looking great.

Car of the Century.
The s430 is one of the best I have owned. Handling, comfort, stability, reliability, power and ambience, out of this world. I can't think of what else to drive after this. I have used this vehicle every day for more than two year, even in the most challenging terrains, yet, it delivers. Knock on wood. The only downside is with the pneumatic door system which fails without easy remedy. Otherwise, it is a good vehicle.
Best S Class
This is the best S class ever ! I love it
s-class Sport pkg is a piece of machine
The S430 with the sport pkg is just did it for me. Love it the minute driving off the lot. I couldn't afford the s500 sport or the s55 but this vehicle enough for my pocket.
my 21st century cadillac fleetwood
i purchased this car to replace a 1997 e-320 with 107,000 miles. what an improvement over a great car. the s- class literally floats on the road but with a good feel of the road at the same time. and to be honest, it is prestigious, which is why i call it my 21st century cadillac fleetwood, the car i always wanted when i was much younger a long time ago. furthermore, they price was discounted!!
love it
very pleased exchanged my e class for the s class
2002 s 500
Great car ,love the air ride. CD player should also be in dash. You would think that with a $90,000 car the rear seat bun warmers would be included, not an extra.
me
great car best car around
S 430 - John Donnelly
