Love my GLC Coupe
Edit: Now approaching 27k miles and being 4 months away from 5 years of ownership, I still love this car. The only problem I’ve encountered was a clogged sunroof drain, which was taken care of easily. It has practically worn through the Goodyear tires that it came with so those will be replaced soon. Otherwise, all is good here! I bought my GLC Coupe about a year and a half ago and still love every moment in it! When I tell people what I have they often have no idea what it looks like, giving it a sense of rarity. I love the exterior and interior styling, and the infotainment setup is pretty easy to use. I look forward to keeping this car for at least 10 years and hope it’s good to me!

First SUV ever!
So, I am used to driving luxury sedans. This is my first SUV and I must say the transition was seamless. I love the coupe version of the GLC. It fits my style, but I have the utility when needed. I love long road trips, beaches etc. so I am looking forward to doing things like that in this SUV. It is super sporty. Although the engine is only a 4 cylinder, this things has some power! You also have the ability to use the dynamic select options to firm the dampers, steering etc. The seats are chair height so ingress and egress is super easy. You have a commanding view, but with the sportiness of a sedan. Now, having said all of that, I don't haul big items, so that has never been an issue for me. I drove both the GLC wagon and the coupe, and both were wonderful SUVs. Just the coupe seems more buttoned down and has more direct steering. I have not regretted my purchase so far. The interior of this car is amazing, as well as its quiet demeanor. The stereo is amazing and having driven Mercedes products for years, the column electronic shifter and the COMAND system is like an old friend. LOL. I actually like both systems. I added the level 3 package which added all of the safety aids, and they work wonderfully! The active lane assist is amazing, distronic plus is very useful during bumper to bumper traffic, as it will drive the car for you. The cabin fragrance system is also a good option. They are not over sensitive or overbearing.

ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?
This is the most incredible vehicle I have ever owned. Anyone who does not give this car at least a 9 out of ten either isn't paying attention, or works for a competitor. Sure, it would be better with 50 more HP. Show me a car that would not be. The good news is that, with most German cars, you can pay more to get more power without changing the overall personality of the car. But, it is a stylish, versatile, comfortable and satisfying car, by any measure. It is smooth and quiet. The entertainment system makes the cabin feel like a concert hall. I am one of those people who felt Mercedes took a downturn during the Daimler-Chrysler years. But, what ever happened in those days is not happening anymore. This is true Mercedes-Benz in the tradition of the best cars the company has ever made. Is the technology a bit complicated? Yes! But, it has multiple layers of control, meaning many functions can be controlled in several ways. So, once you find your preferences, it becomes very uncomplicated. I wish the car had Apple/Android car play, like my Porsche. But, it does everything else so well that the system's absence is hardly noticeable. The comfort is amazing. The MB-Tex seats are firm, yet not obnoxious. They look and feel like leather, but they will never stretch out, wrinkle or crack. In this day of cheap and annoying CVT transmissions, Mercedes specifies a silky-smooth 9-Speed automatic. Shifts are hardly noticeable. The car has a suite of safety features that protect the driver and keep he or she aware of what is going on. If this car has a weakness, it might be rear visibility from the driver's seat. But, the advanced camera package takes care of that. The car is just the right size. And, I love the styling, even in base trim. I saw it at the NY Auto Show and immediately bought one. I could not see any car on the floor that would meet the needs of a car enthusiast who can't just look at performance. When the seats are folded down, the cargo space is cavernous. While you may sacrifice some space with the fastback design, it isn't that much. And, when you buy a GLC Couple, you probably aren't looking for a truck. The added style carries with it a cost, in terms of reduced cargo space. But, is not a big factor. Comparing this car to a BMW X-4 is not even fair. The X-4 is a great car. But, it is more expensive, and lacks refinement. It is also not as comfortable. I have owned a 188 cars since 1970. Lots of premium logos. And, I would bet that this Mercedes will prove to be my favorite. You can listen to the so-called experts nit-pick the car. But, get in one and drive it for a few weeks and you will agree that this car is destined to be one of Mercedes Benz best ideas ever. It is the kind of premium car that should have been built 20 years ago. I love Audis, BMW's and Porsches. But, I would choose this over any of their highly competent SUV's or SAV's. Style and character still go a long way with me. The Mercedes-Benz GLC300C4 is a competent vehicle that does more things better than any car I have owned. Let's just hope the reliability factor is in sync with the obvious build quality of this car.

After my grin settles
This is our first Mercedes. We drove a SRT Jeep and Porsche Macaan prior to the purchase. We have owned for just under a year and about 15k. The car is still as exciting as it was when we drove it off the lot. The engine and exhaust note this car produces makes the incredible sound system seem like a waste of money. There are zero complaints about the car. The sitting position in both the front and rear along with comfort made it the better option over the Porsche. The engineering, fit and finish leave very little to complain about. Gas mileage of course depends on driving habits. High side is mid 20's low side is mid teens. We have the coupe. We have not seen another glc43 coupe since purchase. It has been and continues to be a thrill. I did drive a glc300 when we had or 10k service. The AMG package takes the platform to a well engineered car to a exhilarating experience. The air suspension is a great feature as well.

Ignore the haters
This car is beautiful. And it is VERY quiet and soft ride. The negative review posted that same thing on many pages. I have not had that experience with this car. This car is perfect for those of us who need a small SUV but don't wanna look like soccer mom.

Head turner
This is the coolest vehicle I have ever owned. It is both sporty, firm, but also comfortable. Mine is black with cranberry and black seats, sleek and easy. As a friend once said to me, "you drive a BMV, but a Mercedes drives you". This is a solid vehicle and I think i will be driving Mercedes for years to come. I drive a lot for my business, and no reason not to drive in comfort.

excellent excellent loved it
When my wife asked me change switch my beloved coupe because she had trouble and couldn’t adjust to the limited view of the rear, i hesitated between saying “ok honey” and “no. i have a cheaper idea. why don’t u learn how to drive”.... i regret saying ok honey. if u don’t mind the smaller trunk space and the confined view, get it. it don’t disappoint. for some odd reason, it has the same output as the regular glc, but somehow this coupe gives you that extra thing u need when u need to.

2019 GLC300 Coupe w/AMG line
It’s a great car and way more value that you might expect. Luxury and performance plus great looks. We’ve had a number of SUV models, but this is the first “coupe” fastback version. Should have bought one a long time ago. It’s a fine car with all the capacity we need. Who ever fills the uppermost rear corners of their SUV square back cargo area?????

Lifes Dream
The vehicle has almost all of the bells and whistles that Mercedes Benz had to offer when I took the vehicle home from the dealership. The vehicle is comfortable, rides like a dream and continues to please every day. Other than some minor software issues that one usually gets when getting a brand new vehicle, the dealership went above and beyond to make everything right. The advanced safety features that the car has are superb, and the heads up display allows me to keep my eyes on the road. I am so pleased with this vehicle, I may purchase it when my lease ends. Why change when I am happy with this vehicle. I am still pleased with the vehicle and did purchase it when my lease term was up.

Fast and Feels Exclusive
I purchased this car new and have had it for about 1 year. I can’t find the words to say how happy I am with the car. It’s fast…. Boy is it fast. The first time you launch control it, you better be ready. If you are coming from a car with “regular” horsepower in the 200-300 range, you will need to get used to the 500+ horses. The 63s Coupe is a bit of a unicorn. You don’t see too many AMG GLCs and the 63s is super rare. When you do see one, it is typically a GLC43. Be prepared to have cars want to race. Be prepared to have people come up and ask what engine is in it as you park the car and they hear the wonderful sound of the V8 engine. The “emotion start” is a beautiful sound too. If you want to hear the car in it’s full glory then put it into race mode and put the transmission into manual. Lifting off the gas in the 4-5K RPM range releases a symphony of pops and burbles that still make me giggle a year later. The ride isn’t as comfortable as the regular GLC, which is to be expected when riding on 21” low profile rims and tires. The ride is still very nice in all of the various suspension settings. My car came with the Pirelli P-Zero tires, which are very sticky, but have the shortest life span of the available tires. I will be replacing the tires soon. I’ll get about 15K miles out of them, which isn’t bad given the type of tire. I’ll put on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S, which should get closer to 45K miles. I purchased one of the last batches of V8s for this series. It came at a cost. Due to supply chain issues, there are a few features that should have been standard that I didn’t get. Even without the features, I still love the car. The augmented reality camera wasn’t available so Track Pace and augmented navigation aren’t on my car. There are a few other features as well, but overall the car is still very nicely optioned and luxurious inside. My wife thought it was a bit much when I told her I wanted this car, but she admitted the other day while driving it…. Your car really is a lot of fun to drive!

AMG GLC 63S Coupe
An amazing vehicle, incredible power, comfort and technology all combined together. Best car I've ever owned and I've had a Porsche 911, Audi RS 5 and Range Rover Sport SVR. This is a different league and I'm happy I pulled the trigger after months of research. If you can afford it, do it!
Beautiful quiet car.
This car should be more readily available but it is harder to come by. Much more attractive than the bmw. Classy and sexy and fast. I’d highly recommend. Mercedes is finally designing attractive cars.

2020 AMG GLC 63 S COUPE
It is absolutely not recommended as the owner of this vehicle. 1.The finishing quality is not good for the price. 2.A lot of noise occurs while driving. 3. High-speed driving is also unstable. 4. The ride on city roads is the worst ever. 5. The most serious problem is that the dealer does not have experienced technicians. If there is a problem with the vehicle, it takes too much time and you have to visit the service center several times. This vehicle cannot be recommended except for a hand-made eight-cylinder engine. If you want this vehicle, you should test it for as long as possible and take a close look. It is also not a Mercedes-Benz customer upgrade vehicle, but a vehicle that loses customers.

This car drives absolutely wonderful... I still have not learned all the features yet but so far so good. Highly recommend buying a Mercedes. My vehicle came with factory warranty still for 2.5 yrs but did buy additional warranty. No pressure on sales or thru finance department. Great experience highly recommend Mercedes in Austin Tx

To hard to drive! Very confusing!
I purchased this Benz around Christmas. Always drove the other brand. But let’s try it, big mistake. This SUV is very confusing on the systems. They made it so complicated on setting the drive mood, radio, navigation, and everything else. What was Mercedes thinking. So I had this big idea of selling it. Forget that ! They have flooded the market both ways. Used and New market. Pay big money in and lose it on way out. And for the dealers: it was worth the money back in the Day. Bring your car in and they took very good care of you. Good luck! Better off going down to the Toyota dealers. No offense, you should pay for luxury.

So Glad We Passed on MacanS...
What a great value! Audi SQ5, BMW X3 540i, Porsche Macan S, we tried them all. Mercedes dealer was fantastic. None of the other luxury brand dealers would negotiate on price. We easily completed our deal out the door at $16000 below sticker price. The AMG outperforms all of the others as well. It also has the best interior and the least annoying infotainment system.
