Drives great, but has some irritations

Update: 16k miles I am enjoying the car a lot. The engine, transmission and suspension are 1st class. MB fixed my complaints free under warranty: Gas door, sunroof. AC is still icy. I purchased this car because the reviews were so good, it has the latest tech (It's screen rocks) and I get 34.6 mgp to work. It is quiet and always finds the right gear. When pushed hard it is predictable and we'll composed. Irritating: sunglass storage will spit your glasses back out, pain to go between functions in infotainmet-really a pain, A/C is always icy, mix of quality and cheap materials, serious lack of useful storage. I opened the hood then could not close it, gas cover is pain to close, head rest started rattling after 4 weeks, there is a loud ding every time you open the door, the seat backs are cheap, the headliner is cheap, floor mats are cheap, the trunk lid is not balanced and does not close well, rear sun shade not opening all the way after 2 weeks, remote window open never works. All the little things kill this car for me. I had 2 Infiniti's and never had so many problems in 15 years as I have had in 3 months.

The 007 treatment

Very much of a James Bondish feel when you get in the vehicle... Obviously not a muscle car or just souped with heavy Hp...If you want a sporty whip with a 007 coasting the scene appeal , this is the one...Just my honest opinion👍👍

One of the best cars I have owned

I got to admit, when you drive a MB you get a lot of look from other drivers who admire your car. This car is comfortable, the heated seats work perfect, road noise is at minimum, navigation and phone features are a little hard to function. The surround sound is just awesome, I have connected my phone to Youtube and listen to my favorite music through the speakers (Bluetooth) and it is just awesome. Mine came with blind-side sensor which is great and it warns the driver to not change lane prematurely. All in all, it is a great car and I would highly recommend this car to those who don't mind to fill 93 Octane gas in their car.

Expected Better from Mercedes

We've had the car a little over a year and bought it in large measure on the strength of the Edmunds review, which gave it an A rating. While the car has some nice features, it also has some that leave you shaking your head. We're not sure why Edmunds gave it such a high rating, it probably deserves a B- instead. On the positive side, the car is beautiful, comfortable, performs well, gets outstanding gas mileage and is fun to drive. On the negative side of things, the overly complex entertainment/climate control system is maddening. Even after a year, I have no idea how to find a radio station outside of the presets the salesperson helped me program when we first bought it. There are three levers on the left side of the steering column - turn signal, cruise control and steering column adjustment. Too many times I've turned on the signal when I meant to adjust the cruise control, and vice versa. Very clumsy design. The other real negative is the lack of a spare tire. We've had two flats in the year we've owned the car, which is way more than we've experienced before. In both cases, the drive-flat tires were ruined and had to be replaced at a cost of over $400 each time. Even worse, a flat tire with this car demands your immediate attention, which is a real pain in the rear. No matter what else you're doing at the time or where you are, everything has to be put on hold until the tire gets fixed. Gone are the days that you could put on the spare and go about your business and get around to fixing the flat at a more convenient time. And if it happens on a weekend, the car is pretty much out of commission until Monday.

Tires are Definitely a Defect

I have a 2015 MB C300 4matic, i love the car. The dealer just replaced both side front half axle shafts and the dealer told me I need 2 new front tires, im only at 14,200 miles! MY rear tires are in amazing condition. So I have spoken with 3 mechanics who have said #1 continental tires lately are not lasting as it should nd #2 most likely the defective front aaxle half shafts contributed to both my front tires prematurely wearing. And I only drive highway and never get more than 25mpg! Sticker states 34mpg on the highway so why am I getting 10mpg less, i only use 91 fuel..
