I love my A220 4WD
I can’t say enough wonderful things about my new A220 4WD It is everything my last car, the CLA wasn’t. The drive, the look, the smart technology, visibility ...everything I can find no negatives And, while many of the reviews find a negative because the car isn’t a hatch back, it does have fold down seats so that isn’t really a negative It is my favorite car every That’s saying alot because I’m 67 years old so have owned allot of cars... many Mercedes, BMWs, Audi’s, as well as mustangs etc. The mistake reviewers are making is saying this is an entry level car for millennials and advertisers are pitching it that way It’s an incredible car for every group.

Well worth the wait!
We were looking to replace a 228i and these were just announced in early 2019. Although it had been years since we had owned a Mercedes-Benz, the brand has really been on a roll. From a safety standpoint, they are head and shoulders beyond the “other” German brands. I won’t go into detail here, but if safety is a consideration for you, research this brand. We ended up ordering a very loaded up A220 4matic, and it is really a nice driving car. Because it was an early order, and we added every option, it took 5 months to get it, and now that it is here we have no second thoughts about that wait! Forget any idea that this is a low end, entry level car just to get into the brand. We cross shopped it with a C sedan, and this A was preferable. It isn’t super fast, but there is plenty of punch for most driving situations. The car is quiet, the seats are very comfortable, and the noise level is sooo low. I actually had it out on the turnpike today and even at super legal speeds there is very little(!) wind noise. The car is sure footed as it gets. This is a lot of car for the price.

Baby Benz!
I leased a 2019 Mercedes Benz A Class in May 2019. Driving around town is enjoyable and, yes, even relaxing! Comfortable, soothing, luxurious and enough space inside so that no one feels cramped. Highway driving is a breeze. This little car wants to fly! Finally is has fantastic and fun features like ambient lighting and Hey Mercedes! I love it.
SMART TECH, FUN, AND COMPACT
The tech geared in the A220 is similar to the screen of the S-Class offered by Mercedes. For reference, I am 5'3'' and of course most vehicles are comfortable to suit my small size but I think it is perfect. The car is very adjustable and malleable to your wants. The car can't be compared to a high-class Mercedes but it is still fast enough, you can't go past 15 mph in Los Angeles deadlock traffic anyway. Gas mileage is decent but what do you really expect. Premium gas makes a great difference in this car which I did not believe was influential. I would definitely get another A220 in the next 3 years after my lease is up.

Great sleek elegant car
Such a cool car to look at and drive in. The interior LED lights at night creates a mobile lounge experience and multiple options to choose from. The digital panel is futuristic and elegant as well. The center panel makes it easy to adjust the infotainment without taking your eyes off the road. Drives smoothly and powerful and quick for a 4 cylinder. The sunroof/moonroof is quite large which is perfect for driving with it open during summer days and nights. Good gas mileage.

Murdered A Class
This car drives, rides and looks great. Around great package
Best mini s class
Very fast with turbocharge. It has lot of features from 64 ambient lights to mbus system. Beautiful interior and best luxury car.
Uncomfotable and for midgets
I had a Toyota Corolla with cloth interior before buying an A220. The $18K Corolla was way more comfortable than the A220. The A220 seats are super uncomfortable and if you're 6 feet tall, you can't see green and red street lights if you have the overhead visor down. If you lean to your left, you scrape your hair across the top of the car every time. This has been my most regrettable purchase ever. Within 2 days of getting the car, the window wouldn't even roll up. I can't wait to get rid of this thing

Awesome A35 acceleration with a caveat
I'll start with I love this vehicle. I love the stylish looks, the AMG branding, the two tone gray/white seats, and the get up and go when needed but.....The "but" is something not talked about much. The turning radius is limited. If you attempt a low speed, tight turn of more than about 1/2 a steering wheel turn you hear a loud clunk. At my last check up, the dealer service rep stated that he owns an AMG and they all do that. He blamed it on the tires being high profile. Recently, I spoke again to my local dealership and the service person stated he was "looking at a memo from Mercedes" stating they are not responsible for the problem and their recommendation is that the owner replace the tires with "winter tires". I am not sure why winter tires, as it would seem to me winter tires would add more drag and incur a lower MPG. I wonder if the tires have a smaller profile? Regardless, as an owner the dealer provided tires should be sufficient when purchasing a vehicle. If the issue is clearance between the tires and adjacent suspension parts then the dealer should make good on this and fix it on a recall.

NY LULU
I traded in my Honda for this new A class on my husbands instance. I have never been more happy with an automobile as I have with this Baby Benz. My husband has the S class but that's to big for me so I elected for the A class and I'm thrilled to death every time I drive it. Service is impeccable !!

From C Class to A Class
I purchased a very well equipped 2015 Mercedes-Benz C 300 4matic sedan in 2018 after driving both Honda and Nissan cars for more than 20 years. From the initial test drive, I fell instantly in love with Mercedes-Benz and loved the performance and handling. I tried BMW but it did not have the same handling and felt a very rigid in handling. Mercedes-Benz is a smooth ride and can pick up speed in a pinch. In November 2022, I traded my C300 in for a 2022 A Class Base Sedan with AMG styling, lowered suspension, and the sporty look. I decided to lease this time around and said what the heck, let's give this baby Benz a try. There's not much difference in the speed because that little car can move and handle just like my C class handled. The car I have does not have the chip so, I don't have the power leather seats, heated seats, XM satellite radio, and I don't think I have the 5 USB ports (at least I have not found them). I am still getting used to the car and miss some of my features (i.e. Bumester surround system, USB media, power seats, heated seats, and power lift gate). However, this little car has so many other features and newer technology that makes me forget all those other features my C300 had. It's great on gas and is a fun luxury car. I don't consider it to be a downgrade or entry level car because it's still very luxurious and turns heads. I have the Night Black with AMG rims and tinted my windows to make it look even more sporty. It looks just like my old C300 but smaller. The only thing I don't like is the annoying extra sensitive feature when pulling out of my driveway. The noise is piercing at times and sounds can range from a harmonica to flat line some days. Overall I highly recommend this car and look forward to getting acclimated to all the features this little baby has to offer.

Loved My 220!
Test drove the CLA and C-Class. The a220 hands down one of the most fun cars I’ve ever driven. Very reliable too if you treat her right. Definitely an underrated car took multiple trips from NY-FL and drove there and back with no problems. Good on Gas, Fast, Beautiful looking car. Overall 8.3/10 rating.

Sharp M
This car is smaller than other sedan but it has enough room if you don't have large number of family members. Also great for young adults. I bought this car to drive for 2 years and going to give to my son once he graduate from college. He is very excited about the car and he feels that would be a flex for the him. It rides very nicely and well made.

A220
The car runs great. It has one small issue, which I think is unique to my car only, and not to A220 in general; when you accelerate only after you have come to a full stop, sometimes it experiences a small jerk. It happens perhaps once a day and it can be annoying. I have brought the car 5 times to Mercedes’ dealership for service , and they have changed the transmission and the whole software but still the issue persist. The reason I say it is unique to my car only is because I have received several loaners when I drop my car for select ice and none of the other A220 cars I have driven has this issue. In addition, the dealership has given me the C- class and the GLE, which are great cars, but each time when I get my car back I like it the most.

Smoking hot
The 2020 A220 sedan is not the 4MATIC one meaning is not the fully loaded one, with this you miss couple of features that to me weren’t a big deal, and that car was good, classy, and nice looking for my buck, I totally recommend it if you’re Not into Fancy features.
