So far I'm very pleased with the purchase. I'm still getting used to the advanced features. I guess I simply didn't know that a car could contain this much useful technology after driving a Hyundai Santa Fe for a few years.

I purchased a preowned vehicle in April 2011. I have put about 14,000 miles on in to date (purchased at approx. 11,600 miles). No major repairs to date. Vehicle is reasonably comfortable, convenient controls on stirring wheel and dashboard. So far, routine maintenance has been performed, car has been reasonably comfortable with no major problems.

Purchased used in 2012 with 37k miles, prev rental car, but I never had a single issue with the car in 7 years and 93k miles I put in. Too bad the car was totalled by another driver this year. While not the fastest car in the midsize segment, the Mazda 6 is very agile and enjoyable to drive. It doesn't feel like a heavy car. I had the standard 4 cyl engine and everything was very reliable. Only routine maintenance. It's not as quiet at highway speeds as a Camry or accord but you can add sound deadening material. Would buy a Mazda 6 again!

Everything I ever wanted! I can even fit my mt. bike and kayak inside it at the same time. Heated seats are a must! I wrecked last yr and as it did shatter the passenger tire, I could still open the passenger door.. very safe. Noticed both mine are not as tight in turning left at high speeds but I speed every where. Great inside, had one with navi and one with backup camera both great! Engine runs so sweet. No problems. My 2009 had issues with the blindside monitor, info, & traction control box when it was too cold. Imagine a fuse or wiring problem but my 2011 no problems ever! If I could keep buying this car with less miles, as I drive tons, I'd be an owner for life.

Lease expired on our beloved 2007 Mazda3 Touring. Checked out the 2010 3's and could not get past the homely grill. Test drove new Sonata and Camry. The Sonata is pretty and handles well, but the GLS feels like the economy car it is. The Camry (even in sportier SE trim) was not much fun to drive. The Fusion, Accord, Altima and Legacy styling do not move the pulse rate. If you put a leaping cat on the 6, it could be mistaken for a Jag. One car editor said it drove like a Jaguar XF. So what's the down side? The cloth seats are not that comfortable. The lumbar support does not hit me in the right place. Cheap Walmart seat cushions fixed that. Stereo is just okay. Mileage is mediocre.
