Zoom, zoom?
The car looks and rides great. Visibility is excellent and has all the bells and whistles; blue tooth, blind spot monitoring, Bose, heated leather, etc. What the car needs is a little more zoom in its zoom (another 20 or 30 HP would be real nice Overall - a good choice!
Mazda gets it right
I turned in a 2007 Mazda6 Touring for a 2010 i Touring Plus. Mazda took criticism of the former model to heart and has produced an excellent machine. It's quieter, smoother and roomier. Beautiful exterior design sets the new Mazda6 apart from its peers. Some decontenting appears in the 2010 to hold down costs, but Mazda's compromises aren't deal-breakers. Highly recommended.

Full circle
Bought 2010 i touring Mazda 6 in Jan. 2010 and put 12,500 miles on it. Traded it in Oct. 2010 for another 2010 Mazda 6. Same color, same engine 2.5 4 cyl auto only difference was that I moved up to i touring plus and with added leather seating. Hows that for a 12,000 test drive. Love the car. You think.
Good car
Have had car now for three months. Nice car to drive. Had a manual 1988 626 previously for 23 years and that car, even old, gave much better mileage (27 city, 35 hwy) than this car; probably due to all the added built in features on 6. One cannot choose options as in old days. Performance ok now, cannot judge reliability after 3 months--maybe in 3 years. Appearance is good, trunk nice and big. Could only get black interior with manual and shows dirt quickly; Mazda should provide more interior options with this style. Seats are hard, lumbar feature not as useful for me as my old 626, wrong position. Good car with advanced features but old 626 was much sportier with better gas mileage
Nice Care Overall
Had this car 2 weeks. 4 cyl is adequate at 170 hp but no thrill ride. I do mostly hwy driving. So far mpg is 27. Solid feeling car. I bought this over other sedans because of the exterior styling. Seems to stand out in a crowd. As mentioned in another review you can hear the gas in the tank. Overall I'm very pleased. One note- I'm 6'1" and the steering wheel height cuts off the top of the gauges unless you have the seat on the ground. This is annoying.
