No regrets

After looking at many makes and models, we settled on the Mazda. The 300,000 + miles we got on our 1990,323 had some influence. So far, we have been pleased; no surprises. Controls, gauges, and comfort features were well thought out, and fit like a glove. Adequate power, but still good gas mileage. Seats four very comfortably. Glad we chose a model with steel wheels; not the custom wheels with thinner tires. If satellite radio not fully installed (only the control on dash installed) you might want to ask what it will cost to install the radio later. We didn't. Keep in mind this is a low profile car - watch speed bumps and high curbs. Overall, we have no regrets so far. Great car.

I only recently purchased this car and am so far pleased. After driving a diesel for the last 4+ years, even 170 HP feels strong at highway speeds! I wasn't sure about the "Red Mica" at first, but I've grown to like it. It seems to be quiet at highway speeds and rides smoothly. I have to get used to the "Blind Spot" system. When you pass a car, or a car passes you in the adjoining lane, the yellow indicator light in the mirrors will light up. I wonder if it may cause other drivers to mistake it for a turn indicator & think you're about to change lanes on them. It will also indicate when you're driving next to concrete barriers and guard rails (sometimes).

Smooth Rider

I originally wanted to purchase the Mazda 5 but my wife wanted a Sedan not a van. So I went with the Mazda 6 and so far I really like it. This is the first Mazda that I have purchased. It rides very smooth, looks very sporty and has pretty good pick up for a 4 cylinder car. The rear seat can sit 3 adults comfortably. The Mazda 6 is an excellent value for the price.

Quality vehicle at a reasonable price

Have put close to a 1,000 on this car so for and overall I'm quite satisfied. This car's exterior design is right up there with all the other competition in its class. It has just enough power for the price, it gets good gas mileage, and the ride is smooth. Other reviews indicate "excessive road noise" but I haven't noticed anything unusual. I agree that SOME of the interior accents are somewhat cheap (front side air vents, backseat fold-down cupholder, etc)but for the price, you'll be hardpressed to find a better vehicle. Before you spend the extra money on the Camry or Accord, give the Mazda 6 a look.

Zoom, zoom?

The car looks and rides great. Visibility is excellent and has all the bells and whistles; blue tooth, blind spot monitoring, Bose, heated leather, etc. What the car needs is a little more zoom in its zoom (another 20 or 30 HP would be real nice Overall - a good choice!
