Of course the Acura tsx or a Volvo S40 looked good and felt better when I drove them but did I want to spend that kind of money just to get from point A to B NO! I was going to purchase a Honda Accord considering good reviews. So the Accord was my choice amongst midsize sedans. But the ugly style of the '04 Accord didnt' do it for me, I wanted a more male, sporty car to drive. The Nissan's altima was like driving a cheap car and the Camary was just too much for the car you were getting. So the 6 was the one I purchased. The handling is just great and the power you get for the price you pay is just perfect.

Hi! I had a 98 Mazda Protege and got rid of that at 140k. I just bought the Mazda 6 (i) last week so I am still in the "honeymoon" stages, but hope to be continue to be there! Handles good, very fast and look good. Very smooth on the road.

I've just had my Onyx Black 6i for a few days, but I am very impressed. I cannot opine about the long-term reliability, but so far I am very pleased with the build quality, fit and finish, performance, fuel economy, etc. This is the third Mazda for my wife and I. This car replaced a 2003 Protege ES, which replaced a 1999 Protege ES. Both Proteges were absolutely bulletproof- all we had to do was change the oil, fill the gas tank, and follow the maintenance suggestions. Those two cars combined gave us nearly 130,000 trouble-free miles, so I have high expectations for our new Mazda6. We weren't really in the market for a new car, but Mazda's incentives were too good to pass up.

So far great car. My 5' 2" wife can see out and my 6' 1" legs have enough room. Its a hoot to drive on mountain roads.
