Great SUV for my wife. Better than my Explorer and Escape.

I had high hopes for this vehicle when my wife wanted a beautiful looking interior. It has been flawless mechanically but found some sneaky rust at bottom of rear passenger door at seam bottom. I take great care of my vehicles but this appears from inside the door. I bought it as a certified cars 4 years ago and warranty just ran out on May. Dealer did not try to do anything but told me to complain to Lincoln. In about 15 minutes, I was told sorry, no help, by the “concierge “. I have NEVER owned a 6 year old car that had rust like this ( or at all). I am a recent Ford/ Lincoln guy and it looks like I will be turning back to other brands if this is the way we are treated ( on a $50,000 vehicle to boot). This is old school Chrysler territory. I really want to love it. Update: 4/23: Still running great and still rusting. I don’t see any other 2016 vehicles rusting. When my wife gets ready for a new vehicle, it will not be a Lincoln. Update:4/24. 78,000 miles. Just took a 2000 mile trip. 25 mpg. Was able to slow rust with regular rust converter and WD-40 application. A rear hub failed and transmission is starting to shift differently between 2nd and 3rd. Hesitation on higher speed acceleration. Hasn't failed us at this point and my wife is not up for a new vehicle yet so just hoping it doesn't have the fate of what others are having with the transmission and engine. Hoping it's just my imagination. A mechanic looked at it and noticed what I did but can't pinpoint a specific problem to fix as no codes at this time.

I love my car she is great and gets me where I need to go. Many times I thought about trading her in for a larger Lincoln but keep changing my mind because I have no problems with her and she runs fine so why trade it.
