2024 Lexus RX Plug-in Hybrid

Like the Lexus, the Acura offers excellent value for money even when fully optioned. Where Lexus has dropped its V6 engine from the RX, Acura still uses its venerable V6 in the MDX and it's smoother and sounds better than the RX's powerplant. The MDX offers more space than the RX, as well as an optional third row of seats. Performance isn't the strong suit of either SUV, but the Lexus returns better fuel economy than the Acura. Larger and more technologically advanced than ever, the X5 holds the advantage in interior room, cargo capacity and slightly more well-rounded tech than the Lexus. The BMW is also available with optional engines, offering more performance than what the RX offers. But the RX, even when well equipped, undercuts the price of the X5 by quite a lot of money. Available with either a turbocharged four- or six-cylinder engine, the GV80 offers a lot of luxury, not to mention loads of style, for not much money. Both the Genesis and Lexus fumble some of their tech features, but the performance edge goes to the GV80, especially when you opt for its turbocharged V6 engine. On the efficiency side, the Lexus returns superior fuel economy numbers with ease.
