Used 2005 Kia Sedona Consumer Reviews
Satisfied
We purchased this vehicle to replace one that was getting old and was starting to need a lot of maintenance. We weren't necessarily looking for a minivan but found one we thought we'd like to test drive. The dealer let us have it over night and we were very impressed with the Sedona. The warranty package was very important and we also liked what we were getting in the vechicle for the price. I think we made a good choice in the Sedona. I would have liked the anti-lock brakes to come on the base model and for the take off from a stop to not be so sluggish but other than that I really enjoy owning my Sedona.
Crash Test
My wife and I bought a 2005 Sedona that has 16,500 miles on May 21. Three days later while driving home from work I had an accident. A lady in a Lexus pulled in front of me and I slammed into her going approximately 50mph. After recovering from the initial shock of it all, I got out and found, to my surprise, very little damage to our van. The lexus was totaled. The van sustained damage to the front end and radiator, but had no intrusion into the engine. I was also very pleased with my lack of any serious injury, an air bag burn to my hand was all that happened. And now I have become a believer in the Sedona and its high crash rating.

Impressive
I absolutely love my van. It looks so sleek and nice on the outside and the leather interior on the inside is easy cleanup. The sunroof is also great. Wonderful van for the money. Very happy!
Awesome!
We wnet from an entry level SUV to the Sedona. NO COMPARISON! The Sedona was less to purchase and MUCH more in comfort. It is roomy with a number of great features. Such as the power seats, ability to remove seats and haul "stuff", leg room, captains seats in second row and a very quiet ride!
Sedona - Nice Ride
We were looking for an economical replacement for our ten year old Dodge Caravan. We looked at all of the contenders out there and felt that many of them were overpriced for some of the most basic of features. Playing the option package game can add thousands to the sticker price just to get one or two features of interest. We also found it frustrating to get the color options we wanted. Build quality and design left a lot to be desired when we looked at the choices. Then we looked at the Sedona. One look was all it took. All the basic features we were looking for were there. The price was great! Its built like a tank. It is very comfortable and drives real smooth and quiet. It has power!
