Very Poor build quality!
Cons: Nearly every component of this car is faulty or sub par in some way. Fuel cap doesn't open, rear hatch door has loose parts inside the frame (you can hear loose parts rattling inside), the steering wheel column has a weird noise when turning (sounds like parts are rubbing together in the steering assembly). The A/C compressor went out within the 1st year. No spare tire included (we found this out the hard way)! Death by a thousand cuts... Thankfully the only redeeming quality was the fuel economy which was a big help this year with rising gas prices at the pump. Otherwise, I will likely never recommend a Kia to anyone who wants a headache free and reliable car. If you do decide to buy this car, make sure you have additional warranty coverage.. you will 100% need it.

Grea car for gas.
When I fill up with gas I can go between 800 and 827 km on 1 tank of gas. That is so great with the cost of gas going up. The car recharges itself so I do not have to plug it in. It is very comfortable to drive in and in the winter I really enjoyed having a heated steering wheel and heated heats. Another great option is that the driver and passenger can adjust their own levels of heat. I really enjoy driving the car and when you start it up you do not hear anything.

Love it
Best car I've ever owned in 50yrs. Gets 45 to 50mpgs. Has 80k miles and runs fabulous. Not an issue with it.
Very pleased with my Niro
I got a new Niro in 2018. I have had no problems with it at all. I have over 102,000 miles on my car. I have only changed the oil, purchased new tires and got KIA's 100,000 mile service. I plan on driving this until it falls apart (not anytime soon.) Very reliable car.

Approaching 220000 miles and still going strong
This Niro has consistently delivered 48-51 mpg city or highway since we bought it new. We now have just under 220000 miles on it and it shows no signs of aging. Our only issue with it so far was a leak in the AC unit that required the evaporator to be replaced this year. Drives well, rides well and swallows multiple trunks in the rear with the seats down. We are now looking at a new Niro for 2025 but will also keep this one. The amount we could get for it is far below it's value. Highly recommend this model.
