Straddling the Line
We had the best service from a dealership (70607) 2 hours away in the same state when we purchased our Jeep Wagoneer Series III in October of 2022. The following month (November 2022) we started having issues with the entertainment center front & rear. No Firetv or anything to keep our kids occupied which was the main reasoning for purchasing the package. Please see the many Wagoneer forums of all the technological issues that customers like me are experiencing. We finally received our repairs in January 2023 and the following day the system errored out once again. Go figure! The additional negative item is our dealerships in my local area (70817) and beyond are not ready to be in the "luxury" vehicle market. No loaners, no care/consideration, no customer first experience. (See the 10 promises to Wagoneer buyers). My wife is ready to trade because of the experience with our local dealership. She wants to feel like her hard earned money was the purchase, but the realization is some dealerships need more training to provide that experience. Mercedes or Cadillac knows this business in which that's where we will be going if I want peace of mind. We took a chance and lost with this one.
Wagoner sucks
I bought a keep wagoner in February 2022 and two weeks later it was in the shop for over 3 months. And it is November 2022 and still no fix for the heated seats. This really sucks

It just blew up !
Not literally, but close to it. Bought a 2022 Series III with around 15,000 miles from a PA dealer on 4/3/2023, drove it for about 2000 miles and on 5/5/2023 was driving on the interstate at 70 mph when the engine made a grinding sound, then smoke and then a bad smell and lost power and came to a complete stop, It’s as towed to Claremont Jeep and has been there ever since. Over a month and a half and they have yet to fix it. Its waiting for a new engine and parts, there is no sense of urgency to fix it from the service department in Claremont, as I didn’t buy it from them, and Wagoneer just send me form one rep to another without answers. I paid $92,000 for a vehicle that has been in the shop longer than I’ve driven it, I wish I stayed with my GMC Yukon, but my wife liked the Waganeer, big mistake.

Worst New Car Purchase Ever
Bought brand new 2022 Wagoneer. 198 mi Stop/Start feature does not work. Local dealership service department has treated me awful. They say “there is nothing wrong” however if AC is on stop/start does not work. When I tried to explain that start stop should work they basically started talking down to me and making me feel inadequate. 1st and last time to ever buy a Chrysler product.

Nimble Beast
Had the Wagoneer Series II as a rental for 2 weeks and used it for quite a few tasks. Took a 2000 mile round trip with some city driving involved and will list some strengths and weaknesses below: (PROS) - Nimble handling and corners well - Good vision (unlike some other full size SUVs with large B and C pillars) - Lots of standard features including heated/ventilated front seats - Decent gas mileage (21HWY and 16.5 Mixed driving) (you might get better as we had a load of gear that weighed 1500lbs) - Variable Cylinder Management helps with the mileage for sure - Plenty of torque to get this vehicle moving. You won't be off to the races, but it is more than sufficient. - Good sound system for essentially the base model - Refined dash design - Lift in height for cargo is great (CONS) - Electronic control systems (which affect almost everything else in the items below) > CarPlay randomly disconnects and won't recognize any phone either via WiFi or cable (This is a known issue in Wagoneer forums) > Auto engine restart only seems to work sometimes - Lane monitoring system is overly touchy. I have this feature in 2 vehicles that I own and never have an issue in either of those. - Some body roll with cornering. I really think the Nexen tires are garbage and this issue might disappear with better rubber. Perhaps Michelin LTX or Premier LTX. After all, the tires are the only item that makes contact with the ground. Never go cheap on this item. - Seats might be a bit narrow for the vehicle size/class. It is not an issue for me as they were just the right size for my 5'10' 185lb body, but if you're much larger you might have an issue with the seat width. My 6'5" work partner did have an issue. - Some wind noise at highway speeds from side windows. Not much but could be improved. A sealed window design at the top of the window would solve this. - Like most modern vehicles, the instrument menu panels need to be learned. Jeep's is no more complex than any others, although some might see it as a complicated system. With the exception of the electronic management, this is a great choice for a full size SUV and if you're in the market you should give it a test. [UPDATE] I ended up buying a 2022 Series I Carbide. Now with 16K miles on it and almost one year of ownership I have had ZERO problems. The body roll concerns were solved with the 22” rim package on the Carbide Edition. I opted for the Series I to eliminate all of the possibly problematic assist features and happy that I did. Tons of cargo room that is accessible without climbing in the vehicle (Suburbans have this issue).
