Used 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk
I've had 4x4 trucks my entire life until I bought a 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk for better gas mileage, and because I live in the mountains down mud/gravel roads with occasional snow. We just received historic levels of snow in the Sanra Cruz mountains and I drove through 3-4ft of powder in Snow Mode (off road 2) for miles on ridgetop precipices, and it was like driving a snowmobile. This only adds to the already 5 star review I'd give this vehicle on all levels. It goes through mud like a truck, rock climbs, etc but also looks amazing cleaned up. Excellent handling on windy mountain roads, quick acceleration and luxurious interior. Granted mine is fully loaded w leather and spacers which enables bigger off road tires. Love it will keep and get a truck again as well.

Hemi Punch
Purchased 2017 Jeep Cherokee Summit 11/22/2022 from laker Motors in Holland, Michigan. Average Mileage so far 18.2.I love the police cruiser exhaust rumble. Needed to compare this vehicle with typical 4 wheel drive FORD truck and they simply do not compare. Love this vehicle so far. I have yet to drive it in winter and will get back to you on that experience. The tabs do not allow me to check the v-8 hemi summit hemi version. UPDATE: Have had he vehicle two years. Recently had two mechanics look at it and drive it. They both said it was very unusual when compared to others like it. ALL the pieces were apparently put together properly and I still love the vehicle and now my wife wants one.

Love jeep
Drives like a high end suv, feels like a high end suv, but it’s ready for winter like a Jeep.

Disappointed.
My lease was up this summer and needed to lease a new car. The jeep met all my requirements on options. I went with the Overland model to get the safety features. Yep, if you want safety you have to pay extra! That should have been my red flag. Heated seats are standard, blind spot is not. The first week I noticed the auto restart causes the car to either lose power or over excelerate randomly. Of course I can't get it to do it (or they don't believe me) at the dealership. Randomly the transmission shifts so hard it feels like it's coming through the back of the car. Now that it is summer the heated seats don't heat. Takes 30 minutes to heat if they do at all. Also, the outside temp gauge seems to be faulty. It read 105 degrees on a 60 degree day. Can't wait to trade it in.
