I have been having issues with this care starting.. it sounds like it doesn't want to start. When I put the key in to start it up, it sounds like it isn't turning over. I had to push the gas pedal so that it would start up and I shouldn't have to, so I am worried about this, and I don't want to continue with this lease. I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but I am thinking about

Issues, Issues, Issues, Unreliable !!!

Purchase brand new, 2016 Cherokee Lattitude, black on black trim, V6 3.2L engine. 4 visits to dealership for software, mechanical, etc. issues in ONE year!! Of course the dealer will document each issue differently, a tactic to avoid the Lemon Law, 3 consecutive problems result in a full refund. I have never been so disappointed with a purchase. If you don't want to deal with constant headaches and aggravation please avoid getting this vehicle, Very disappointed JEEP!!!!!

Cruse control is a danger

Going down hill I can never count on the control not to take off. It will go from 58 to 65 mph in a second. Have had it in to shop 2 times just for this. The last time I was told that I should never have control on going down hill. What? Never had a car that could kill me just because I have control on. Also had back tailgate latch not wired up and a bad cell in the battery. The jeep is a 2015 that had 25 miles on it when I bought in Oct. 2016. I had them do a check of the car before I bought it because it had set for awhile. I have a lifetime warranty on it. Think I will need it

Do not buy this car. When you put it in gear you never know if it will go forward or backwards no matter what gear it is in. It will not start, the door will come down on you head and knock you out, the tire pressure gauge alternates between okay and low, and the dealer will flash the computer about fifteen to twenty times and the car will still not work. I will never , never, never, buy another Jeep. Also I had the worst dealership. When I called about my car during the 6 weeks they kept the car during the first 3 months of ownership I was told that nobody in the shop know anything. I had to take off work to talk to the shop about the status of my car. they thought is was okay to sell me that loaner car at the same price of my Jeep which was about $10,000 less than my Jeep. Usually drive about 20,000 per year but I am afraid to drive this car! Plan to sell as soon as possible! Paid much more than it was worth. Bought a new car and it was so much better the Jeep. The Jeep turns off when you stop at a light and turns back on when you touch the accelerator. Several months before I bought a new car the Jeep did not turn on when I touched the accelerator. That was a bad feeling in the middle of the intersection. New car is so much better and now I feel safe driving!

I’ve had problems with this Jeep since the beginning. Within the first two months my transmission went on me while I was on a highway. Then I had issues of it shutting down with no warning. That happened 3 times. Now I’m through my warranty, and I’m having even more issues. Latest problem was the radio being replaced, that was 400$, then both headlights replaced. The dealership charged me 174$ for that. I have it almost paid off and hoping to get another year or two without having to put a lot of money in it. I doubt that will happen. But one thing I do know is, I will never buy another Jeep again. The electrical work to this car is horrendous.
