Great car with terrible handling

Our new QX60 wanders all over the road, on the highway over 65mph it is almost impossible to keep it going in a straight line. 5 trips to the local Infiniti dealer who says the car is fine. Alignment green, tires fully inflated. Just terrible.

I bought this car, brand new, with high hopes that it would fall into line with every other Infiniti I have had. Sadly, I have already had the battery die COMPLETELY overnight where it had to be towed away. I have had to pull over in dangerous areas because I failed to notice that, although the display said the defroster/ air conditioning system was running- it wasn’t… no air was coming out of the vents until I restarted the car. I also have massive issues with phone charging and connectivity. I recently got the new iPhone and the car and phone cannot find each other. On a more subtle note, but important to me, the seat heat really barely works. I also have the back door open itself as I go from the driver to passenger seat and are nowhere near the sensor, yet when I wave my foot under the sensor behind the car (when I actually need it), it doesn’t work. I used to swear by Infiniti and recommend them to everyone, but I don’t feel I can do that anymore; and that deeply saddens me.

Looks aren't everything...

I've had this car just shy of two weeks and it's one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. Despite its looks (and let's be honest, chrome skid/exhaust plates in the rear are embarrassing) driver comfort is the most important feature. To that end: Heated/ventilated seats are the worst I've ever had. It's almost a joke. You can’t even tell if they’re on. It's maddening. AC - if it's above 85 degrees out, forget about it. The air coming out of the vents is 65 degrees at best (and I verified this with a thermometer). Ten minute ride to Costco and I’m hotter then when I left the house. Infotainment locks up intermittently and there’s no way to fix it while driving. Steering assist? Horrible and dangerous. Definitely not ready for a production vehicle. Whomever approved this feature should be fired. When you try to take control back from the car, it fights you for it - seriously. Despite having my hands on the wheel and following clearly marked lanes, I've almost crashed twice as a result of simply testing it. 17 speaker stereo? Underwhelming at best. I’m sorry I bought this vehicle.

I am 6ft 1inch and was looking to upgrade to a more luxury type of Cross Over. My older kids are also my size and still travel with us at times. The QX-60 has so much room including head room and leg room in first and second rows. Along with the room there is a beautiful interior design and fantastic noise reduction. The screen for connects to my IPhone perfectly and allows us to use our Mobil apps including navigation features and blue tooth. The sounds system is great. The handling is great and the performance is what I expected although I did not purchase this car as a sports car and wanted more luxury with comfort on long trips. The exterior has an amazing design and I really gets the second looks from people who haven’t seen this new design yet. There are so many features I just can’t list them. By the way I purchased the lowest trim called the PURE. After some research I would probably have been better off purchasing the LUX but still very happy with the lower priced PURE. I am so happy I purchased the 2022 Infiniti QX-60 UPDATE: I purchased the Pure trim. I love everything about this new redesigned QX-60. The exterior styling draws a lot of interesting positive comments from people. The interior is fantastic and such an incredible feeling of luxury and comfort. Only a couple of one time glitches I have seen other make comments such as having to reset the Center Console. That was easy fix and never saw issue again. No other issues. Totally recommend this suv!

I had the original QX60/JX35 that had Intelligent Brake Assist coupled with Predictive Collision Warning - was great! The new car does not have this unless you are in cruise control - which does nothing for city/town driving. The safety of this car has gone the wrong way. I would not recommend at all for that reason alone. ***UPDATE Sept 23 - still have the car because I can't justify taking the huge financial loss. I would still NOT recommend this car. Sure, it drives between A and B - but the usability issues on the car make it a frustrating experience pretty much daily. My local dealership closed about a month ago - sure makes me think Infiniti is not doing well if they can't keep a dealership in a prime suburban market.
