It's a excellent car
It's been almost 3 months I had this car. I am very pleased with this car. It has a very nice handling system and interior is fantastic. The sond systems is totally awesome. My customer thinks this car should worth more than $35,000.
Fun
Very fun and beutiful to the eye. A car that gives the feel of an expensive luxury car without the high price tag.

Got To Love It!
The XG350L has all the goodies of the Avalon XLS at $7,000 less (list price). Love the smooth and quite ride, fit and finish of the car, and love the memory seats with the auto seat feature allowing for getting in and out of the car so easy. I formerly drove Acura TL, Volkswagen Passat GLX and this has the same build quality at a much better price. I can't understand the reviewers talking about the transmission hunting. The transmission and brakes are outstanding parts of the experience. All heads turn when I'm on the road trying to find out what brand of car this is. All my friends are absolutely astounded by the looks, both on the outside and inside.
Looking good reliable Luxury Sedan
Quite engine Lots of toys = comfortable Best Warranty Plan
Best Value
I've many vehicles over the years but the XG350L has the best quality, most standard features and the most value for the money.
The best for your dollar
Beautiful and classic looking auto with all the features a discriminating buyer would want to have in a car. The price and its warranty are unsurpassed by autos with similar characteristics.
XG350L
Unbelievable ride. Would compare to the Lexus 300ES ride.
The best quality car I have owned.
Ihave owned Lincolns most of my life. When I HAD A near fatal accident in March of 2004, I decided to get a different kind of car since it took so long to find another Lincoln made the same year of the other one that was wrecked. The car dealer asked me if I had seen or driven the350L,I told him no.That is when I was introduced to the 350L.I have been satisfied:more mileage, use regular gas, and most of all,15,000 cheaper. It has the same features and more.
Youe Have to Drive IT!
I just love it. With over 20 yrs driving a Cadillac. What was I thinking? The ride is soft , smooth and Quite. It has more features than the Cadilac at less than half the price. I was able to buy my XG350 and my wife a beautiful New Sonata LX, AND STILL HAD MONEY TO GO ON A GREAT VACATION! Thank You Hyundai, You made a believer out of me.
New XG350
Only have had a week or so--I am extrenely happy with this car to date( I know I haven't had it long enough to see if any problems occur)
Value
Features a-plenty for a car in this price range. If the Sonata is an "entry-level" midsize - this is the "exit-level" midsize. I hope this holds up as well as my Sonata did.
2002 XG350
Many luxury car features below usual luxury prices. Stand behind warranty to the point of swapping one new car for another when seatbelt system didn't work.
It's OK
The XG350 is ok, drives ok, don't like the way it handles behind large trucks.
Surprising Quality!
Very comfortable to drive. Quiet ride with moon roof open. Controls are fairly well laid out and easy to access. Very good dash, center console, and rear seat storage. Wood grain accents give an expensive feel to interior. Sound system and components are easy to manage, while sound quality is adequate. Split fold down seats allow me to put a wheel chair, rolling walker, and several bags in the trunk. A FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE WITH 12 SPOKE RIM STANDARD. The spare tire alone retails for about $120. The manuals, I repeat manuals, are well laid out and easy to understand. They come in a nice leatherette folding cases with pen and paper.
Rear ended
I was rear ended and the car held up beautifully. The under carriage reinforcements needed to be replaced and the bumper. I was hit at 50mph. I was sitting at a stop light. I was very impressed. The Honda that hit me was totalled.
love it
I owned Mercedez benz`s for 20 years. Best decision I made was to purchase it. It rides great, has wonderful features, and has a great warrenty. I hope to do it again.
Better than the TA
Traded in a 2001 Trans Am with all the goodies. Had been looking at the Hyundai line of vehicles for some time and noticing their vast improvement. Took it 1000 miles on a 4 day trip and no problems. Very comfortable ride and good road manners. Drive it 35 miles each way to work and back in the Boston area. Makes the traffic a lot easier to manage.
A fine Automobile
Purchased auto in July and have put 7000 Kms without any problems. A beautiful riding car with plenty of get up and go. Interior displays somewhat difficult to see on bright sunny days.
LOVE THIS AUTOMOBILE
THIS IS TRULY AN EXCELLANT AUTOMOBILE. THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED AND/OR DRIVEN. HANDLES WELL, ACCELLERATES WELL, IS VERY SMOOTH AND ALMOST SOUNDLESS.
2004 Hyundai XG350L
This is my second Hyundai, my first was an '01 Hyundai XG300 that had 103,000 miles on it. My '04 Hyundai XG350L has 15,000 on it already since June of this year and absolutly no trouble so far. No mechanical trouble, no cosmetic trouble, only just routine oil changes and tire rotations. The car is quick to accelorate to get out into traffic. It has a smooth and comfortable ride comporable to some high-end luxury cars I have been in. When I trade this one in @ 100,000 miles I'll buy another Hyundai XG model.
Great Vehicle
This vehicle has the look of a luxury vehicle inside and out. It has all the wanted features in a luxury vehicle. I am completly satisfied with the vehicle. On long trips I have never completed the trip and been uncomfortable from sitting in one posistion over long periods of time. The vehicle has excellent acceleration, and performance. I am very satisfied with the vehicle in all areas, I have approximately 3,000 miles on the vehicle. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a high end vehicle at a very economical price. I have been very enchouraged by the service of the dealership in Dickson City, PA.
love it
second hyundai we have had both are great i have 74000on my 2000 elantra and i expect it to go and go for a long time, we love the warranty would recomend it to anyone in heartbeat and metro service can be trusted something differenin this day
2004 Hyundai
One of the nicest cars I have ever owned. The ride, the extra's, the room, the price. I would highly recommend this car. Test drive one soon!
Hyundai XG 350L
We liked the XG 350L that we purchased two of them. The gas pedal is very sensitive however when you get accustomed it is fine. The auto is one of the best values on the US market. We have owned previously German vehicles as well the Cadillac seville the XG350L ride is just as comfortable.
What a Pleasant Surprise
After pricing new & used cars, we Test drove the XG - we couldn't believe it! The XG was equal to anything for far less $$$. The Warranty backs up their claims - haven't had to use it yet. The interior is equal to the best available (Audi A6), we now compare the others to the XG. The engine feels very strong & braking is great. All the Safety features - 4 wheel ABS,Traction Control, even Side Airbags.Don't believe Edmunds Editor Review - JD Powers Rating (10/04) puts Hyundai #2 behind Lexus, guess where all the other high priced cars were !! Highly recommend this car - you won't believe what your getting. Quality Quality Quality How do they do it ?
A Refreshing Surprise
Love the style, features and warranty for the price. I had previously owned a Cadillac Deville Concourse and let me tell you, I'm not disappointed. Easy to handle around NYC traffic and lots of power for our treks upstate. Highway gas mileage is about 27 mpg, but city driving is about 16 (what I was getting in the Caddy). I hope Hyundai is hard at work regarding their engine R&D if they want to compete with the Japanese in the MPG wars. Hyundai needs to also work on its dealer service network. It took 3 trips to the dealership to repair an inoperative drivers side maplight, all 3 times having the wrong part. I finally had it repaired in 1 visit to a Brooklyn dealer. Overall, I'm very happy.
A Great Value
Did not know about this car before going to the dealer. Was impressed with interior comfort, decent power in V-6, long list of included options on L model (leather, etc.) and most of all - the value. Got this great car for almost $7k below sticker with the mnfr rebate. To get the same options on a Honda or Nissan you'll have to pay around $7k more than what we paid. It's not sexy, but it's a great car and if you can get past the Hyundai stigma you'll feel the same way.
Hyundais are just as good as the rest!
The XG350 is my 4th Hyundai, and I love it even more than I loved all the others, and I loovveedd the others! I get compliments on how upscale it looks several times daily, and I think that it rides and feels that way as well. I don't think Hyundai gets the respect that the other car companies get even after numerous attempts to show America they have awesome products. The other three Hyundai's I purchased were as reliable, dependable, and visually appealling ans any Honda, Toyota, Mazda etc. Now Hyundai even offers one of the best warranties in the business. Yet car magazines still fail to give Hyundai the same optamizime they give the other automakers.
love my xg 350L
it is simply the best car we have ever owned I have been driving since 1958!! no american car comes close to the fun of driving the XG.
Bang for the Buck
Price for what you get is quite the bargain. Love the ride, sound system good, leather seats very comfortable. Trunk space is huge. Can't beat the warranty. Best buy for the price if you are looking for a little luxory in the mid 20"s!!
2004 350L
The car has beautiful styling, rides very nice, has all of the amenities of a much more expensive car, even has a full size spare tire that has a matching alloy wheel, I recently went on a 1000 mile trip with it and it performed flawlessly.
Nice Car
For the price this is an outstanding car. The only thing I miss is a compass.
Can't beat it
Approaching 15k miles and runs great. A little vibration at 75 mph, gotta get the tires rebalanced. Love the car.
2nd hyundai
I have a 2000 elantra and bought the xg350 based on that experience. except for the dealership, owning the xg has been enjoyable.
Great car!
Unbelievable good quality. Pleasant drive. Very good price. The quality and of performance of this car have been underrated. Although the gas mileage could be better, I highly recommend this car to anyone.
Great
This car is a great car for everything, and everyday driving.
Job Well Done
I really like the tastefull and well designed interior. It shows they really worked hard to win over customers. The ride is soft and handly is secure enough. The exterior design makes it look like a baby Mercedes(it might as well pass for one)!
Great Car
This is one of the very best cars I have owned .( I am 81 & had about every kind if car made) Great driving, comfort, performance. have had no problems with the car. I just couldn't be better satisfied with a car.
Surprise
I needed a car because my Lincoln died. This car was the right price and had some features I have become accustomed to having. I am surprised that it is handling well, feels comfortable, looks good, get stares from people who can't believe it is a Hyundai. I am also surprised the editors gave it such a bad rating. I have driven many cars on extended road trips and have owned Lincolns, Volvo 850, Accords; and this car ranks well among them. The Crystler 500M was the most fun to drive, the Subaru XT6 was second and this is third. Quality is along the lines of the Avalon. I drive my cars hard and it is keeping pace with me with no troubles yet (knock on wood) and I have nearly 40,000 miles.
A Joy To Own!!!
I have enjoyed this automobile immensily. I highly recommed it to anyone who is looking for a new car. The Anchorage Service Center treats me like a king. I could't expect a better treatment if I was driving a Rolls Royce. Best Value for Money (VFM) in an automobile I have ever had.
I LOVE IT
I just bought my car last night. I was looking at another car but once I saw this and test drove it I was hooked. I have received so many compliments already. This car is totally awesome and is so smooth on the road. It is so quiet that when you start it you wonder if it started...lol. This is the best car I have ever owned and I know it's only been 24 hours but my gut is telling me I did the right thing. Love everything about it. I'm not big on all the extras on cars but am certainly enjoying them on this one. It looks like a rich persons car and trust me I am far from that...lol. I am glad to have a nice dependable car like this. Got a great deal. I believe I am a true Hyundai fan now.
Great Value safety and luxury
This car is an amazing and luxurious ride. Reliability, good looks, leather heated seats moon roof and power everything. It's a 2004 and all the accessories still work like new.

The genesis if the Genesis
Doubtful you can get your hands on one of these in great shape . We have had our for TEN YEARS , and have never needed to add oil , brake or transmission fluids We have added very little coolant and , of course , windshield wash ! We have replaced tires 3 times , I think there is a actual real spare tire but never needed it We bought AAA+ road service , but why ? People frequently tell us they thought it was a more recent model Lincoln . We have always kept current on the maintenence schedule according to the handbook , which I somehow misplaced , but probably won't need . Better car than our past Audis , Maxima and Hyundai Sonata . It even beats our VW van and MGB-GT or many decades ago . LOVE IT

Very comfortable ride, 30mpg highway 28 mpg overal
I am amazed with the car. Best used car I ever bought. On long trips, I recline passanger seat, I sleep comfortably. I only have good things to say about the car. I got it 19yo, with 85,000 miles. In 3 months I have put 11,000 miles on it. Did not have maintenance history, first thing I had done, timing belt water pump kit. ($1,500.)

Bargain for the money
We were shopping for a car for under 10K with mileage under 70,000. What was available for that money? PT Cruisers, Ford Focus, Chevy Cavalier. The design, feel and features of this car beat those 3 times over. We only brought it home today but it rides very smooth, handles well and feels solid. That and all the other amenities to boot.
Wonderful Value
We bought one ('04) for my wife over 2 years ago. In 50K, 1 issue - resistor for the fan speed. Hyundai dealer fixed it under warranty even though we didn't buy the car there. Unreal value - pretty much every option you can ask for. Very easy to drive and you feel great after a long trip. Solid build quality - feels like it is built like a tank. I liked it so much I just bought one for myself - another '04. My commute is 100 miles round trip and it is actually enjoyable in this car. Sure beats paying crazy money for an Accord or Camry.
Not sure yet how I feel yet
Pros: Nice features, great warranty, nice looking, not many around. Cons: Accelerator and brake are too close together - too easy to have one foot on both. My leather front seats are like sitting on boards. I can't beleive others say they're very comfy. Air gets musty easily, though there may be some setting I'm missing. Car accelerates from a stop a bit too quickly for my tastes, though I'm used to 4-cylinder engines. Front, driver side, door lock seems to get stuck occasionally. Model has been discontinued, so parts may be harder to come by. Not many dealers around and I've heard the company is in bad shape.
