Used 2011 Hyundai Tucson GLS 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Tucson GLS Best Car we ever had
Iris blue with black tint is the sharpest looking vehicle. The exterior and interior design is brilliant. The Tucson drives extreemly well and the handling is better than the corolla we previously had. Love the AWD that only kicks in when needed (or when you press the button to engage it full time). The bluetooth works very well and was easy to pair two phones in a minute. The dealer was willing to deal and we ended up getting two extra years of warrenty thrown in (to bring it to 7 full years). We also got a price reduction equal to the undercoating and paint protection. Plus it came with a 1200 litre gas card. The real bonus is the 0% financing for 72 months!
Great car, I would buy it again.
My wife and I bought this as our very first new car together. We bought the AWD as we live in Michigan and winters can be a bit hectic sometimes. In town we average around 22 mpg. Not bad, but highway is anywhere from 26-34 mpg, depending on how heavy your foot is. When we cruise at 55-65 mph is where we really get between 32-34 mpg. Other than that, it relatively good in the snow and there is plenty of fold down cargo space. If you utilize the trunk, you may be disappointed as there is not much trunk space. Overall it's a great car, 13k on it and not a problem. I'll wait till it hits 60,000 before writing another review.

Stiff
Don't expect to ride cloud 9. My GLS will make running over a mouse feel like a speed bump! Suspension is VERY stiff...and so is the handling...will turn on the blink of an eye. Heating system is so-so. Comfortable for smaller people but as I'm a BIG man, the seats are not built for me. AWD helps in the rain and snow here, which is the major reason I purchased the car.
Engine failure at 134,000
I really enjoyed driving the car until it had engine failure at 134,000. This car has been babied. Transmission fluid change at 100,000 miles and regular oil changes every 3 months at the dealership and gently driven. After the last computer update at my last oil change iI was informed I needed a new engine. Cost -$5,000 for an engine with 125,000 miles plus $2,000 labor. Just to get an engine that might last another year based on what my previous babied engine did. So disappointed in Hyandai engine. Stear clear. And of course just 3 months out of the 10 year warranty.

Having owned 6 Suv's ,this Tucson is the best one
After owning this 2011 Tucson with 88,000 plus miles, I now feel it's getting a little boring.
