Used 2005 Hyundai Tucson LX 4WD 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
First New Car
I'm an army guy and I just bought my Tucson fully loaded 3,000 miles ago. It has been wonderful. I moved from GA to upstate NY and needed the winter features and 4WD. I love the car, the price and the warranty. The SanteFe I drove did not fit my 6'4 frame as well as the Tucson does. I got the extended warranty option which is 10 years bumper to bumper and its transferable! The price was the same as the sunroof. I testdrove all of its competitors and thought it over for couple weeks. I love the car.
4.5 yrs and still like new!
Still love this car, no problems 4.5 yrs later. Also was the least inexpensive & best bang for the buck when I bought it new vs CR-V, RAV4, X3, Escape and the only one of them that had all elements V6, 4wd, ESP, 6 airbags, Sunroof, Leather Heated Seats, and a 5yr Bumper to Bumper. I was worried at time about investing in a Hyundai but now believe they are a solid value company for cars under $30k. What Nissan and Toyota used to be 20 yrs ago! The 4wd & ease of driving in snow/rain has been fantastic, I will never go back to 2wd. Perfect utility car for daily commuting, running around with the kids to soccer & LL on weekends, and camping. I expect 10 yrs out of this car easy. Fun Ride

Hyundai Tucson LX
I have been a car owner since 1952. This is the most fun to drive of any car I have had. The front wheel drive is adequately powered to make the steering delicious, especially with a small turning radius. This gives outstanding control. In other words, you go very clealy to whereever you point the vehicle. You have to try it to feel it! The interior is "vanilla" in good industrial esthetic taste, but for this price, considering every other luxury feature, I can't complain.
Nice little SUV with a BIG warranty
Nice little SUV with a GREAT warranty. The 4WD doesn't get great gas mileage, bu the thing is sure footed in rain or snow. Dealerships are friendly and service is very pleasant. It's no wonder people are not treating these vehicles lightly, anymore.
Hungry at the Pump
I have put my first 3000 miles on this truck. So far no problems. Comfortable for me and enough room for those Home depot trips. Rides quiet and smooth. Good handling with nice turn radius.
